Canada bros, how do we cash out once its 1000 eoy?

Looks like we have no choice but to convert to ETH first and then to CAD.

Are any exchanges going to support link? I just signed up for NDAX and Newton.

Leafs can use coinbase ?

Why not kraken, I probably wouldnt trust any other exchange that handles cad.

Shakepay, Coinberry.
We're all gonna make it user.

Coinbase. Coinbase to Paypal. Paypal to Bank (Like TD or RBC)

Can cash out through paypal via coinbase, does anyone know how the fees are though?

Gemini. Send your USD back to a US dollar account started at any bank. Put it in your TFSA and then use Norbert's Gambit to convert it with almost no fees

Well, I'd prefer not to go through them. Seems like there a lot of red tape, fees, and limits.

NDAX apparently has a $1 million daily withdraw for 0.75%, and it reaches your bank same day.

I use coinbase, sometimes coinsquare. Not sure how many options there are

I think Coinsquare would take too long to cash out significant amounts due to low volume/slippage

>counting your chickens before they hatch
State of stinkies in absolute delusion

Link to ETH or BTC then use Shakepay. I would talk to them first and let them know you are about to cash out.

>preparing for a possible future is unreasonable
>t. a fucking moron

coinbase has paypal but no stablecoin for leaf and only 30k limit. i think binance you can cash out to cad without withdrawing to a bank. might be a good play if volatility. shakepay has 5k limit on etransfers. planning on using all 3.

I'm not, but this pump was such a surprise I figured I better be ready to make a move as soon as I have to.

are you tracking all trades for cra?

Yeah it's the limits that bother me. Have you looked into NDAX? Apparently you can move up to a million via bank wire. Also need to check out Newton. I don't want to use any one exchange with my stack in case shit like quadriga happens again. Ideally I'd have my transactions in and out in a day or two.

I've only made two buys of big stacks 3 years ago, that I bought with bitcoin i mined in 2011.

confirmed ndax shill. im not using your exchange fuck off.

Lol was waiting for this. I'm all ears man.

30k w. limit on coinbase, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

>ndax
>less than 10btc and 110eth 24 hour volume

is this a joke?

with bitbuy.ca you can etransfer your funds to your bank account but I don't think they take link, would have to transfer to eth, btc or xrp first
1.5% charge tho..

Ok this is what I was wondering. I agree, the low volume is a red flag.

The thing I'm fucking confused about is that June 2019 CRA apparently added some shit about "In some cases, a single transaction can be considered a business, for example when it is an adventure or concern in the nature of trade. Whether you are carrying on a business or not must be determined on a case by case basis."

So even 1 transaction can be retroactively declared business income and the only way out of it is to fight Canada Revenue Agency in court. FYI, if you are under 500K this doesn't matter that much, but if you "make it", they can decide you are not paying the capital gains of about 26% and instead paying 52% as business investment income rolled into your personal income tax. Fucking bullshit. Does anyone know a way to legitimately cash out and ensure it's only a capital gain?

you can withdraw via wire transfer with shakepay, with no limit, but you have to contact them directly.

I use netcoins. No funding/withdrawal fees. No buy fee either depending on the coin. Instant funding too w interac.

Just use kraken or shakepay (who uses kraken), there are no other trustworthy exchanges that handle cad unless you want to go usd > cad route via coinbase or gemini. Kraken is considered trustworthy enough to facilitate the mtgox proceedings. At that amount of money you are going to care way more about safely handling your money that whatever fraction of a percent extra they will charge in fees over some noname shit tier exchange with no reputation.

I'm pretty sure that just lumped in with the same thing day traders are put under, if you can prove you basically bought and held then it shouldn't be an issue, thought it appears up to the discretion of your auditor.

Shakepay, ignore the Coinbase coons.

Thanks, I'll look into them. Is the volume decent?

Fren if you have more than 20k worth of BTC, you can use what we call OTC. There is one in Canada called Bitbuy, look them up. Basically you transfer your btc to your wallet on their website (minimum 20k$ i think), then they sell it for you to a buyer and they wire transfer it to your bank account

I appreciate the insight.

no idea. i just use it sometimes to cash out small amounts via interac, never had problems

trade for eth -> send to shakepay -> cash out

Actually does anyone know which exchanges/ramps in Canada offer the cheapest fee? Shakepay will buy eth for 1% under market value, and no fees to transfer to your bank account. I don't know if there's any cheaper methods

Ok well I think my question is answered. Looks like Shakepay wins out, only thing we can all hope for is we get direct LINK/CAD in the near future.

I mean above market value kek
