why the fuck is it so hard to get verrified. I wanted to buy chainlink a week ago when it was 10 dollars but i can't get any website to verify me in a quick manner

What exactly am I looking for when researching coins? I don't quite understand the mechanism for recognizing a good investment.

Is price-locking real?

Where are ppl finding those $0,001 shitcoins?

Depends where you live. I live in New York State and even now there are services I can't sign up for.

Coinbase is the best way to get your foot in the door. Basically every fiat on ramp is going to need a driver's license to verify you same day

>good investment
To be completely honest the only "good investments" in crypto are Bitcoin and Ethereum. Everything else is a trade to get more Bitcoin and Ethereum

Yes but all "price locking" means is you cant spend it until it hits that price

All bitcoins will be gone cause people will lose their keys. CHACKMATE ATHEISTS.

You can use uniswap tools to find projects with a tiny marketcap. Marketcap is more important than price. XRP is only 30 cents but it's the third most expensive crypto on the market

>Marketcap is more important than price. XRP is only 30 cents but it's the third most expensive crypto on the market
Can you elaborate, please?

what's the best way to make money on your holdings? I was thinking about using crypto earn on crypto.com

What does checked, based, larp mean on Zig Forums?

The "marketcap" is the total amount of value of the collection of one coin. It's price x supply. If you create a coin with an extremely high supply (XRP) the price will stay low even if the total value of the network is very large. One of the reasons one bitcoin is so "expensive" is because there will only ever be 21 million of them. If bitcoin had the same marketcap (total value) as say, gold, then the value of bitcoin would be around forty times higher.
If one bitcoin equaled roughly $400,000 the total value of all bitcoin on Earth would be the same as all gold on Earth. Their marketcaps would be the same.

Using dextools

pls ask google c'mon

Checked: when you see something cool
E.g. oh my, check that out! Checked!
Based: when inquiring what it’s fundamentals are
E.g. based, on what?
Larp: little anus retard posture

gold is decentralized btw

>To be completely honest the only "good investments" in crypto are Bitcoin and Ethereum. Everything else is a trade to get more Bitcoin and Ethereum

truth

Okay, that makes sense. Thank you.

I don't understand anything about stocks, their terms, or how it relates to the similarity in chart reading crypto. I get that the value of fiat is always deflating, so I've always invested in PMs, but I've always wanted to dabble in Crypto because it moves around faster and I can use profit to hoard more shiny rocks. I've put $100 in at a time on bitcoin/link and made a few dollars on coinbase from time to time when it goes up, but I have no understanding beyond that. Please help my retarded self actually know what I'm doing so I can be confident in betting more than pocket change. Where do I start because I mean I literally know nothing and every book I read talks about shit I don't understand.

kek

buy link

just joined coinbase

it says I have to wait 13 days to sell any crypto for cash.

does that mean i can sell now, and it will take up to 13 days for each to reach my bank account.

Or does it mean i have to wait 13 days before i can attempt to sell it at all.

Get all your money, all your families money and whatever the bank will give you and invest in noia. Then stare at the ceiling for 6 months.

The fact I had 300 link at $1.20 kills me. I could have got LASIK by now.

>that pic
>Gold: decentalized:low
What? Centralization is irrelevant with gold

Why is it called a sucicde stack? Wouldn't less be worse?

Whitoids never learn baka

Coinbase and stuff doesn’t have all of the types of cryptocurrency out there and us phonefags are being left out. Is there a desktop application or website with the same ease of use as coinbase? What do you use?

>literally started doing this stuff yesterday

I’m using argent wallet on my iPhone. Why doesn’t uniswap work? I’m barely able to do trades.

It refers to those buying in when the token is still very cheap. Like 20 cents cheap. Buying 1k, 10k, or more costs an inconsequential amount of money. Should you have bought 1k of something for like $200 when you had say 8 grand to throw at it, you'd perceive all of those potential gains that you could have had as loses and consider roping. At this point, Normies are priced out of the amounts of LINK that could make them life changing amounts of money and will have to settle for meager stacks in the low 3 digits at best. Just look at all the newfags posting poorfolios where they have like 20 LINK which cost them hundreds of dollars. Meanwhile you have an anons that spent the same amount of money a few years ago and now their stacks are worth tens of thousands of dollars.

comfy

checked and based

Ask more pointed questions and I will help you. You are essentially asking “how do I build a space rocket” and expecting a serious reply.

I want to get into link cause the memes are persuasive. Do you think the price will drop significantly before it goes back up? I know that's how markets work, but I'm not sure I understand it on a micro scale.
God bless.

How do you manage your crypto when it comes time to sell without paying 20-50% cap gains tax? Do you swap your coins into btc or usdcoin? Is there a coin that doesn’t fluctuate that you can use to hold your coins in case of a deflation?
