Also the service that VID-T offers doesn't seem very unique nor without competition. What they are doing seems like a very obvious use of blockchain technology to me. The data validation space could become really saturated very soon.

I don't think you're being malicious, so I'll fill you in: it's not just documents as in invoices or whatever. It's also key environmental sensor data -- starting with IBM's IoE project, but one can think back to something like stuxnet for how valuable validation of environmental data can be. It's also validating diamonds and high value luxury watches, etc. Similar to how Chainlink is "just" a price oracle but the potential for client adoption is near limitless because it provides a clear value.

Any competitor with VIDT datalink? Can't see any in crypto at all. And can't be solved without blockchain.
