I do understand that. However that is beginning to change. A major corporation moving $250M into BTC as a safe haven is a sign of what's coming. Real world adoption beyond the Ponzi casino is what will take crypto to the next level. Is it still speculation that it will happen? Of course. But so is buying a fucking house and assuming the value will rise and rents won't decrease.
Now what happens when network demand increases and supply remains the same? Increase in value relative to any inflationary fiat. And then you throw in the speculation and it feeds on itself to the moon.
