You have to fill out a form for Loopring to add your pair, and they claim they're being selective with them. It's not like Uniswap where anyone can add anything. Then trading volume only comes from users that have added their tokens/ETH to the protocol; you can't trade directly from your Metamask. They describe it as a chicken and egg problem. They need people to add volume but they need volume to do so.
True, and maybe I'm just impatient. I've made 1% since staking in March, which should theoretically be the lowest volume the protocol ever does if it actually gains traction? It's just not the main reason to buy LRC in my eyes.
