Tinder's revenue comes from premium subscriptions, they want desperate men to keep paying subscriptions in hopes they'll match with someone. So they want to ensure that desperate men stay desperate by preventing them from actually matching with anyone. If you trigger Tinder's algorithm to brand you as desperate you are setting yourself up for failure.
