come on, 1000 eoy hardly seems realistic. granted given what happened to eth & BTC in 2017 it's not impossible, but I can't see the sane thing happening & then link crashing back down to below 100. as the network matures, surely the price will rise steadily not in extreme swings? 50 eoy 2020 seems optimistic buy possible. 200-500 optimistic but possible eoy 2021?

You don't need to believe me, user, but that is what I predict the price will be realistically. We're only just now catching up to where we should have been in the first place after all the price suppression.
Not to mention all the Chinese money flowing into Link and then into USD/EURO/GBP etc because of China's questionable future. There was a good thread about it a while ago. That, and Smartcon is on the horizon- and staking isn't far off.
