Normies Instagram posting their daily self improvement routine talking into a camera trying to be motivational infuriates me

its really not that hard if you just put in some effort and are not completely retarded.

Too bad not being completely retarded en putting in some effort makes sure 99% of the people can never make it.

>just put in some effort
no

You can just start your own business but if your country is a punitive shithole that expects mandatory insurance and licensing for every single thing you could do just give it up and become a wagie
Or in other words, why europe, canada and parts in america suck so much at job creation

Why the fuck are you on Instagram?

I like the idea of starting your own business, but literally everything in the modern world is conspiring against you pulling it off unless you're a heeb. You put in blood, sweat, tears, and a fuckton of money, and there's a 90% chance your shit goes to zero.

At this point I'm convinced that millennials doing "their own hustle" bullshit are just doing it for the alleged clout and bragging rights on social media, when in reality they're probably broke as fuck doing this shit.

There's not just all the hurdles, red tape, and paperwork. There's also the simple fact that economies of scale mean you'll never be able to compete with the big boys. They'll always be able to undercut you.

me but without the glasses, open mouth or balding

True, but the consumer wins, by getting a product for cheaper. These big companies have one major downside though, just like a soldier with too many supplies, big companies become a sitting duck. If you kick google in its ass it takes 2 years for the head to notice. Making anything possible like snapchat tiktok or instagram is impossible for google because the administration takes 18months to approve any project at all for example while the competition has already released their app, so they're always in the process of buying them up, sometimes their offer is refused and the next big company emerges over time.

Just be creative bro

>Just work at McDonalds bro, w-what do you mean I need a degree for that?

Too add to this
The Wal-Mart creator was working for J.C. Penny's as a simple clerk before he opened his own grocery store with the right idea that made him the leading grocery seller in the us and before J.C. Penny was the number one you had Montgomery ward or Sears.

Start a Chainlink collection agency. The goons will be knocking for you soon enough.

Creativity doesn't matter when the giant corporate competitors can just copy your idea afterwards. Look at all the social media startups that got absolutely demolished, despite having novel ideas, because faceberg just saw what they're doing and a week later copied the feature.

>effort
I haven’t heard that phrase in a long time...

>starts his own business
>gets psy-op'd buy a fake pandemic 3 months later.
>loses everything.

this
big companies have economy of scale and the ability to invest in high capex projects but there’s always room for the little guy in the market. big companies are risk averse and don’t try new things, especially when the founder of the company leaves and its run by MBAs

Okay but for every one Walmart Dude there are millions who crash and burn. The whole point with this stuff is that There Can Be Only One, highlander style. And the chances of you being The One are so astronomically low that it's not worth bothering.

wrong. for every walmart there are dozens of local grocers and farmers markets. there can only be a few publicly traded companies but there’s always room for others (assuming govt regulation isn’t too overbearing)

>The whole point with this stuff is that There Can Be Only One, highlander style.
good analogy

They don't need to try new things, they can just rip off successful ideas with no repercussion. It's like watching two animals exhaust themselves fighting over a carcass and then a third swoops in and snags it.

Local grocers are dying off. No one makes much money organizing farmer's markets.

with what money

> They don't need to try new things, they can just rip off successful ideas with no repercussion
intellectual property? sure, small companies sell out a lot like was mentioned earlier with the social media apps but that’s not stealing. as far as non-IP goes the smaller companies offer a customer experience that big corps can’t, ie local credit unions offering better interest rates and personalized service for mortgages and business loans
> No one makes much money organizing farmer's markets.
it’s not about being a millionaire, it’s about being able to provide for your family and not have to suck corporate cock. if you’re talking about the lifestyle that gary vee and tai lopez offer, then yes, there can only be one

There are niches in the market simply because of laws, transportation or physical space. Wal-Mart can undercut so many stores by getting huge amounts of produce to giant stores which allows them to cut costs of transportation. The Wal-Mart stores are usually in sub-urban areas adjacent to main traffic streets with many parking spaces.

Wal-mart can't undercut transportation in cities like New York, Manhattan. There is simply not enough space, the streets are too full for big truckloads of items, parking spaces costs an enormous amount of money and store walking-proximity is the dominating factor in buying groceries to begin with. Wal-mart can't make anything cheaper there so classical grocery stores can survive in that niche.

probably make more money then you

get a fucking life lmao

You believe these fairy tales?

As someone that can bridge the reality between a normie and autist I can tell you its all as shallow as it seems. Normies that post on instagram live a worse life than you think. Its not hope of a better tomorrow that drives them like a link marine. Its the views and likes they get and that dopamine rush fades faster than nutting in an old sock.

Wrong. Larger companies need to operate at scale in order to make a product profitable. They wont even get out of bed if a product isnt doing minimum revenues of hundreds of thousands or millions per month.

There are products that do thousands to 10s of thousands a month that they dont touch. Also, if you have an in house operation, your expenses are practically zero if you dont need to store products in house.
