Normies talking about strangles on TQQQ
I wonder what their actual portfolios are since these guys never seem to show their actual accounts

If you want to buy multiple contracts (>10), is it better to set your limit price a tiny bit over the ask price? My broker charges commission on every trade + per contract, so I'm trying to mitigate my losses due to commissions.

Youtube experts ona subject tend to make 95% of income on youtube and selling advice. Their actual returns or holdings are usually lies.

I literally saw a car with the license plate "Shekels" last night in Phoenix. Arizona will remain right up until Mexicans flood the state.

find a new broker jesus

Border run?

I take it you mean go under a vacation/visitor visa for 3 months. Leave for a day via border and come back tomorrow for another 3 months? I mean if that is 100% I'd highly consider it. Albeit if I pick Iceland I'll have to get a plane ticket lmao.

Omg no not fake homeward bound

Cute cot

I would like to visit Iceland during Christmas

Why?

Isn't Arizona already full of Mexicans ?

Should I buy more HIBL? Or NAIL? Or any other leveraged ETF? Seems like shit is just going to continue irrationally going up unless I'm missing something

Not enough to turn it blue... yet.

Anyone else amazed at SHLL mooning Thursday and Friday? Maybe the merger is happening soon? Either way bought in at 19 and it’s looking good

Also curious on this. How succesful would I be on youtube if i showed my portfolio and plays and my thought process. Even if I failed or won I get the feeling my honest process would gain me a viewership. Almost made a youtube account months back as i wanted to do it for fun (lets plays on games I enjoy).

Would probably have had a good viewer amount if I did it on Dark Souls 3 with a facecam (my siblings find my reactions hiliarious and one mentioned it is a hard game series I did well solo as I didn't use multiplayer until shortly before the last boss). Never went through with it as they'd have to keep silent during recordings ruining the enjoyability on our end.

make a short video and then we can review it
you need some fun or clever bits, if it's all boring and dumb I won't like it

Nvm looks like i understood correctly. One problem though would be if i could
>own a house
>get a job

>stuck in a game
>looks up play through
>cringey faggit facecams and spergs during a game play through

Zoomers soys made gaming into fagotry with this shit desu

Only worth facecam game play throughs are holo live type waifus

I think I found out how to get free money. Buy/sell Tesla calls on the candlesticks in the first 10 minutes when it's super volatile. Made $400 between 2 trades each day last week. only downside is the calls cost 15k.

>My broker charges commission on every trade + per contract

Give me some fucking REITs, bros.

>literally betting 15k for a measly 400dollar profit each time

That’s like a 3% return for such a massive risk

should i take a chance on a leveraged GOLD etf, since buffet has went in on gold.

I'm not from the US so my options are limited. I use a commission free broker for my stocks and just use this one for my option trading.

>make a short video
Lol they'd be short for stock stuff. Not really much to talk about as I'd only be posting stuff maybe every few days and explaining why I did what I did.

Eg. When I
>buy stocks and how long term the play is
>sold a stock
>credit spreads
>single option plays

Granted if I did this I'd get paranoid about the SEC banging on my door as all it takes is for me to be really succesful one time and I'd likely skyrocket in viewers who would likely copy my every move before some Karen falsely reports me as pump and dump scammer or some pist off viewer who went all in on a bad play I made. Not interested in going to prison for just showing what I do on stocks and options and being falsely accused of pump and dumper.

Just buy GDX, GDXJ, and SILJ

is there anything else I can do for a 3% daily return? it's worked so far but yes I feel like a degenerate doing it.

I settled on this dumb portfolio in April or so to ride out the climb, what should I change at the moment? It's been a nice climb but I think I need to drop some of the ETFs and one of MA/V.

Any suggestions? I trust weekend advice more but the advice I got sometime recently was alright still. I know it's shit but any actual advice would be great.

Nah.
For me it’s RING, PHYS, and GOLD. The largecap gold names are the safest bet and could still have significant upside.

Just be entertaining and have good editing skills and I'm sure you'll make it

Investing is mainstream as fuck now (just look at Dave Portnoy), he makes it fun for the viewers on Twitter and shit

>>cringey faggit facecams and spergs during a game play through
Lmao. Same sentiment though. You need the right touch otherwise it's cringey and annoying. Most gameplay i watch doesn't need facecams. Only games I like facecams on for the most part are horror games and jumpscare games. Reaction has to be legit though as if it feels forced its feels like watching the vid is pointless.

It's never 100% because countries can deny you entry for any reason they decide.

It looks like it really wouldn't work in Europe because they're bringing all the countries into one system called ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) and you have to apply online before you get there. The European countries that are not included in this system are United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus. ETIAS, at least for people from my country, allows you to stay 90 days within every 180-day period and it is valid for a total of 3 years.

I dumped my V on Friday and plan to add to my MA on any weakness. But I want to raise a bit more cash right now.

Anyone close a covered call early? Why? Contemplating doing it because I think I fucked up the expiration (way too far out).

Literally turn /smg/ into proper video format and I will watch that shit every day after coming home from work while I eat dinner

Oddly specific but I'm running out of content to watch while eating or while soul cycling and the only thing that gets my blood rushing nowadays is ~the stock market~ & thinking about plays that people haven't figured out yet

Attached: 1597438547591.jpg (1037x1200, 364.08K)

If the price drops down to one cent why not cover and limit your risk?

I close my covered call if the price tanks hard & I want to keep the underlying stock or leverage

Usually occurs with calendar spreads. I have a bunch of BABA, AAPL calls that I write short leg calls on every week. I close them out whenever they reach 10-20% of their original value.

Here is my logic for buying and you can tell me how much of an idiot I am:
>stock is around $15
>have conviction it will go up past $20 by EOY (maybe sooner), but am willing to take $17.50 at the cheapest
>buy 2 covered calls with my 200 shares at 17.50 expiring 6/21 (next June)
>post in here about it since in my account, it shows as a negative balance, and an user mentions that its a bit far out (I learned basic options trading and applied the idea that further out = less volatility due to time decay
what do?

Can anyone recommend me any good books to read? I've read one of the original prints of "How to make money in stocks" by William O Neill. I'm looking for books on stocks only, options are too scary.

Attached: 1577569611899.jpg (712x712, 66.98K)

Here is a helpful map showing the countries that will be included in this system.

Attached: Schengen Area.png (449x542, 61.82K)

Yeah I get that, I use anime while eating/biking, but don’t have much I’m excited about.

>Can anyone recommend me any good books to read?

/smg/ is a big fan of Neuromancer, Asimovs’s Foundation, and a lot of Lovecraft’s work.
