can any of you niggers tell me wtf pnk (kleros) does, or is this one of those things where you all circle jerk each other but have no idea wtf you just invested in
Can any of you niggers tell me wtf pnk (kleros) does...
it feeds my village sir
Arbitration of smart contracts through jurors. Jurors are selected through their selected interests (if the smart contract is about gay sex, expert faggots will be the juror pool). Staking of PNK is used to enter the jurror pool, and also this escrow of PNK is used to penalized bad jurors. The jurors then receive a fee for arbitrating. There's an appeals system too.
Best case scenario we replace all insurance claims systems with the Kleros court back by blockchain.
This sounds like a terrible idea.
Lmao that is retarded.
curry
>I'm taking you to Kleros court!!!
Lmao, this is fucking retarded.
Can't believe anyone buys into this shit
keep getting in your own way of making it user. that big brain. of yours is what's stopping you.
Add depo (decentralized police and politics) and we all make it.
its getting shilled by big e commerce, they want to use the jurry system to their advantage so that disputes on their platforsm (ebay, amazon ect) are ruled in their favour.
So a juror selects his expertise before becoming a juror? Who controls wheter the juror is actually qualified? That sounds like a shit idea desu
Where can I go to do the buying the PNK token?
uniswap
If they lied about being an expert you can take them to kleros court
Results of course. There's penalties applied for bad judgements. So over time good jurors will be more in demand.
>I'm taking you to Kleros court!!
Truly one of the best biz meems of recent times
why should we spoonfeed you when a simple warosu search brings up a YEAR of breadcrumbs and good intel?
thats because it is. cant believe the shills are comparing it to link. Absolutely completely different. "its link, but for subjective questions" Fuck you, no its not. Link is a middleware that makes it economically infeasible to falsify datafeeds to blockchains.

Why did judge Judy make a crypto anyway? Doesn't she have enough money?
kek
who decides if judgements are bad or good?
>If they lied about being an expert you can take them to kleros court
Where they will be judges by other liars.
Judges
kleros courts obv
Sounds so fucking useless and no one will adopt it, confirmed circle jerk to try and pump and dump.
quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Wasn't there something about how porn is considered "bad" in Kleros court or whatever
Their own pecuniam, which is what makes decentralised arbitration such incredible technology. It's the same principle as LINK - I pay you to give me information, but only if you have a large stake which you will lose if you provide dishonest information.
No there is NO penalty applied for bad judgment. There is a penalty applied for choosing the WRONG Shelling Point. That is a big difference.
Because if a bunch of retards get together and all choose the suboptimal shelling Point, that will still get rewarded even though the end result will be shit.
>but only if you have a large stake which you will lose if you provide dishonest information.
aka if you make a 'bad judgement', which is subjective?
Those people might win that one case, but in the long run their penalties for incoherent voting will reduce their stake and with it their chance to be chosen as a juror. It is expensive to be consistently stupid. With enough cases and time this problem will be extremely rare.
It sounds like some shit people in the future would say. all in.

Yes. But everything is subjective - all you can hope to achieve is coherency.
>run a million court cases through GPT2
>link this up to kleros court system (x1000)
>now have 1000 jurors working for me which will tend to act in the direction favoured by the majority
>all anonymized
>rake in the PNK
Yes, I'm sure the court system will allow a memecoin to decide what happenes to people
No this is bullshit, because the top people in any field that would have the actual best judgment are not sitting around being fucking kleros judges.
The hobos that even sign up to this juror shit will provide sub optimal arbitration by the simple given that are will never be the top of their field.
The rots the whole foundation. How do people not see this?
Sure, you're converging to some group of jurors that consistently pick the same shelling point. That does not mean it's the RIGHT shelling point.
Learn the difference between 'Validity' and 'Reliability'.
You can do this but it will be prohibitively expensive. There's a reason cases cost ETH but the rewards are PNK.
The tldr is basically allowing you to sentence niggers to death in 3rd world countries, it's without a doubt /our coin/
Juror not judge. Jurors are decided from groups of your peers.
PNK is such a fucking stupid idea
here's another issue: the kleros court has no monopoly of force. how will people be made to abide by rulings that aren't in their favor?
if it's only going to be used for eBay and amazon disputes, why the fuck would those companies use PNK instead of their own rigged system
You are missing what kleros will provide. Their focus is proof of person AND arbitration. You can say you only want jurors from x jurisdiction or above x age. Hell, you will literally be able to request jurors with law degrees if you are willing to pay the premium.
It is not just an oracle network and arbitration network, it is a system which creates trust in the blockchain space. Once you have proof-of-person the possibilities are endless.
well if there is more adoption the value of PNK will rise in relation to ETH won't it
a) smart contracts which automatically deal with funds
b) unironically social credit style system which records the case on your proof-of-person history and lessons the likelihood of less work coming to you in the future, be that translation, graphic design, whatever.
c) centralised companies will probably never go with a decentralised option. But as the decentralised world expands, kleros will provide the key part to having trust in that network.
Wow great counterargument, replying on semantics -_-
Most retarded and convoluted use case in crypto, hands down.
a. fine
b. sounds like something they'd implement in china
