Is daytrading a plausible way to make a living?

just buy RSR, retard

Not for the 95% of people, which probably includes you.

Day trading is a cunt, and even more of a cunt when each trade is a cgt event.

I just finished reading the crypto trader, Glen Goodman says never fucking do it.

I trade for a living but not scalping. Just pick winners and you don't have to worry.

This. Many of us anons lose money on daytrading. Bots did it better on the daily.

You can do this but you have to discipline yourself to only take small profit each trade on 5% range

What might be suitable for you is swinging (weekly/monthly). If you want to go this route, check out aftervalue.herokuapp.com . It was made by an user to scan binance which project might have met the bottom or the top so you can trade accordingly. All the best.

No

Sorry I read this wrongly. Thought you were into scalping, which requires the discipline to take smol profits.

I know someone who resets his trading stack to something like $100-200 every other day, withdrawing everything in excess.

Then does trades like $1-5 with x50 leverage over the day. High leverage, but not easily liquidated. Usually he can double his money within a day or two, then he resets his stack and starts again.

I tried it though and it's too hard for me.

I don't see why not? Just pick monday, wednesday and friday to trade all day. then other days safe plays.

Thnx

No

Literally 95% of the day traders are retarded

Day traders kill themselves cuz its stressful af and they lose money on average

Long term investors have little stress and make the most money on average

There ya go

Have fun trading lmao

The idea isn't to make a living day trading, its to make money, enough of it to invest and give yourself a comfortable allowance from all those investments.

You don't make 100k to spend it all at ounce, you let that 100k accumulate small percentages and you live off of those small percentages you gain and reinvesting whatever you didn't use. A comfortable living is at least if you're making 5k off of investments per month which is stupid easy.

I can't do nothing but agree with this, you may think:
>i can do it
>i am different
>i am special
But then you realize how heavy your emotions can be.

you are all gay
i made more day trading in the last 3 months than i ever did holding link

You will make higher returns buying chainlink and holding and this is a reasonable job

Last few weeks I've been finding it quite entertaining how easily money can be made OR lost. It's also definitely interesting to see scam/artificial wicks coming out of nowhere just to fuck up your position.

THIS
Never forget, you are the dumb money

based

we'll see it in a couple of hours

everyone saying no don't do it is a day trader that doesn't want your competition or someone who understands how profitable day trading is

spoiler alert: there is a reason day trading is illegal, and it's probably not what you think

>day trading is illegal

What exchange allows you to do this? Binance needs minimum 10.1 usd for either buy or sell order

try to start day trading on a US stock exchange
let me know how that goes for you

you just have to buy a seat there, or whatever it's called, it's not illegal retard

What is this user?

eth/usd chart

This is called Survivorship bias

Maybe in your village pajeet faggot
But how did you connect to net is a Q though

>"m-m-muh freedom!"
>can't buy/sell stuff multiple times during one day
yikes

Tbf you have to survive to have had the experience.
People do it. The key is to play the number and remove emotion and run on pure logic. You dont have to be highly intelligent either, even doing simple TA can work if you tackle emotions completely and follow strict rules

>Go long - it dumps and bounces below entry/profitability
>Go short - it pumps
>Set stop loss - scam wick hits it immediately
>Sell and watch only - it pumps massively
>Buy in - price action stalls and/or dumps shortly after
>Set buy/sell orders - wicks miss it by inches

I swear most of action in crypto is made by bots, AI or pro traders aiming to wipe out retail.

No, most people lose. I'm actually pretty decent (most days finish positive) & I still realised it's not worth the effort for me. And given how unpredictable cryptos are & how much you make from big explosive moves you almost always wind up being better off just buying & holding.

This.

Stocks? Lol, OK boomer
