Just in case you are serious though, if more people want to sell link then there are people who want to buy link, the price goes down. If it happens in a large enough volume, it becomes a race to the bottom as everyone starts to rapidly drop their sell price so that they aren't the loser left holding the bag's.
If you want a good example of this, look at the chart for YAM and what happened when the protocol failed. $14 to $0.70 in a day.
