>I will have $200k worth of link when/if we break $20.
Basically I haven't slept properly for days watching these charts. This is a very significant amount of money for me. Unironically life changing. But if link hits $25 I will have enough to pay off my 30 year mortgage immediately, with enough remaining to pay off my car loan. I would still need to wage but I would have an extra $1000 per fortnight that I would get to keep. This means I would have $3850 of completely expendable income per month.
I want to believe that link will go higher. I want to believe that we will moon after smartcon. I want to believe that we will all be staking our link in September. But the sheer stress of seeing this much money and knowing that it could all disappear at any moment is killing me.
What should I do user's? Any type of advice is welcome here.
I cant take it anymore. I just need someone to tell me what to do
Dude. It's simple. Once you make 200k on link go in to LTC it will 10x and you can make 2 mil
Unlikely to disappear. Might drop a bit, but it'll come back when the network usage increases, and it will.
You could take out the minimum you need to see yourself through the next year or so. $200k is a good amount. There's no point in starving. It all boils down to how risk averse are you?
I'm at almost $1M, and it's 95% Link. It's now my retirement, and my dreams. I'm inclined to risk it.
I'm not selling a single Link.
But that's me.
I honestly think the stress of holding 2 mil in crypto would shorten my lifespan significantly.
>that we will moon after smartcon
user how fucking new are you?
pump the news dump the event
Sell.
>one month later
seethe grind teeth and regret
Worst case scenario-
$8-10
Best Case Scenario-
..limitless
Up to you user. I do know one thing. If you want to make multi-generational wealth. This is your chance at doing so. 200k definitely wont help with that.
Why don't you lock up some profits? You're setting yourself up for serious long term psychological damage the way you're thinking. Nobody can live with the anxiety that all their dreams can be shattered at any moment by things that are outside their control. Put 50k aside, you'll feel better and you can always jump back in if there's a correction. Hodl is a meme and not a healthy one at that.
how high do you think link will rise to
user, it’s happening... this morning!
why in the hell would ltc do a x10
it hasn't even reached it's pre corona dump levels unlike most of the other coins who have not only reached it but surpassed it by far
>Unlikely to disappear.
2017 vibes
nice breakout now btw ;-)
Imagine if only 2-3 years down the line we reach ETH tier levels.
Your $200k is now 5mil
Cashed out and invested into boomer index funds that would be 160k a year passive income until you die.
I have been heavily considering cashing out 2.5k link at 20. That would give me $50k at least, which would get rid of the car loan and put me in-front of mortgage by 3 years. Would still have 7.5k which doesn't seem horrible. I am just not cut out for this. Felt 100x better about things before my portfolio crossed $100k, which feels like only last week.
Fiat is worthless so your mortgage and retard shit like credit cars and whatever don't matter. But go ahead and sell. I want to be one of the few to make it from 0.2 to 2k without selling a single link. Puts me at nine figures portfolio by that point. I'm going to have a threesome with your daughter, wife, and your sister. They'll suck and swallow and get ass full of cum. Oh it will be a grand ol' time.
How would cashing out a 9 figure sum look like?
Link isn't just a token that does essentially nothing, user. DYOR. BTC really served no purpose other than being a store of value. Link has utility value and is needed to drive a network which very big players are looking certain to adopt. If you can't see this, that's your business.
You're prob fudding anyway
I don't want to give shitty advice but I'm in the same boat as you. I saw 7 figures back in 2017/18 and didn't cash out, now I'm paying off a home loan and am nearing 200k in link... I can tolerate risks and believe link will probably hit 3 digits within a year or so. Money is money man there is more to life, I'd rather have a large fuck off slice with all the trimmings then paying off a measly home loan. When it hits 3 digits I'll take out 200k and keep floating. That's me. Learn to relax man. You're gunna fucking die one day and all your material shit will mean nothing.
Jesus, if your hands are this weak, you're gonna have a helluva time staying along this ride.
It's not going to stop. And to which I'm talking about? Yes.
Read the Zeus-Capital report, sell and be happy or learn a lesson about greed.
Retarded as hell I guess. Why would someone cash out when worth that much?
Suppose you walk away with six figures - what further opportunities will you have to turn that into seven figures, besides the possible future of Link?
I have literally zero skin in this game. I own 100 LINK. But blockchain adoption is becoming more and more prevalent. Shit, the USPS made a blockchain patent for voting and stuff. If only something could make the blockchain more trustworthy...
> Why would someone cash out when worth that much?
1) Because holding all your NW in one volatile asset is retarded
2) And I doubt you'll be able to do things like buy houses, trophy wives and lambos with your stinky linkies
yeah LINK fundamentals totally defended it from bleeding from ~5$ to 1,5$ last year, and to 1 cent in flash crash March 2020. you are fuckin deluded.
What's the interest on the car loan? I bet it's not much. Is it worth clearing that while risking the huge gains Link may see? I'd rather keep paying the interest for a year or two, and see where the land lies.
With regard to mortgage, the longer you leave it the better. interest rates are low, and you have inflation on your side the longer you leave it. I'm on a fully flexible mortgage with 17 years left on it. I'm paying the interest only and intend to clear the principle on the last day of the loan term, when it'll have devalued massively anyway.
Think about what you're doing, user
Buying assets, cars, houses, and whores isn't cashing out really. You'd have to be retarded not to keep most of your net worth in good assets though. Anyone cashing out is a fucking retard, that's all there is to it.
>Worst case scenario-
>$8-10
I thought the same thing when I held REQ for a year from $1 to $0.05
That flash crash was an exchange fault. You're grasping at straws. Previous drops were because the further back you go, the more speculative it was.
We're looking more and more certain to succeed with each passing week now.
Happy fudding.
>You'd have to be retarded not to keep most of your net worth in good assets though
Like equities, bonds and real estate? Which you'd need to cash out of LINK to get?
Which billionaire has all their eggs in the ETH or BTC basket?
Just sell 1k now lol
These type of comments, exact opposite opinions, literally seconds apart, are what makes me worried. Honestly can't get my head around which one is the correct way of thinking.
Fuck it. If we break $20 today, ill hold to $50, then probably have another existential crisis. If we don't break $20 by midnight tonight, ill cash in 25% of my profit.
