This was the big one frens. I had $1.4MM in LINK at the tippy top and after this 500k whale selloff I had $1.2MM. I couldn't afford to let it drop any further, it's my early retirement at stake. I just sold 60k from my 70k OG stack at an average sell of $17. I'm still provisionally a marine with a 10K minimal make-it stack, but I'm going to have to rely on mostly boomercoin gains from now on. 50 BTC and 900 ETH. Just can't afford the risk of being all-in on LINK anymore.

I lost 60,000 with the price drop. I briefly thought about selling a little, but didn't actually make any moves to do so and ended up ignoring it. Looking back on it I'm a little disturbed that I didn't strongly consider it at all, that's losing a year's salary after tax in an instant, and almost no reaction.

It's going back up though - should have held and holded.

As somebody with the same totals back in 2017, I wish I made the decision you did. Considered selling when I dropped to 1.2MM but didn't do it. Don't feel guilty about it even if it goes up.

The plan was always steaking for me, a monthly deposit to checking is always better than a lump sum. I expect more upward price movement since steaking isn't even available aside from scam site like crypto com that doesn't even use it for nodes. I have a couple ideas for cashing out using tax loopholes and not actually selling any link, but that's as far as I will go. I have over 1mm usd in it but that's not enough to never work again. Maybe at 500usd I'd be tempted, but it's still pretty easy to hold for now.
