Why does BAT get so little attention here?

It's a great use case attached to a great product.

Also, what websites should I browse to look more like a normie and get more lucrative ads?
I only browse Zig Forums so I only get crypto and privacy related stuff.

it will get plenty of normie attention when Barstool dave buys it

It got a lot of attention when it was added to Coinbase years ago and for the next ~six or so months after. Even a few juicy memes. But it will never pump above a dollar.

I genuinely do not know who the fuck that guy is besides that he is 'a celebrity'.

i dont get it but i really like it
are there more

One of the best quotes I've heard since I've been on Zig Forums: "In the crypto world, the price is the news."

BAT/Brave can announce all the positive indicators they want. They can show you that it's a growing project with solid fundamentals and a strong team behind it. None of that matters in crypto. The only thing that matters is the price. That's literally it.

If BAT pumps to $1, we all know the plebs will start talking. That's why it has always been my opinion that a solid BAT pump would be extremely beneficial for the project. It would bring so many more users on board for their chance to make some BAT. I think Brave understands that and that's partly why the price stays artificially suppressed. Maybe they're not ready for the massive influx of users/attention a BAT pump would bring.

There's one variant of the image where the girl sitting on one knee is holding two katanas but I lost it.

That cunt will do more damage than help.

>muh browser plugin token
Fucking idiot

I just started using the brave browser. Do the rewards get reflected in the "crypto wallet" section only after the "next payment date"?

because it actually has a concrete business plan, which makes it harder to meme. It's a privacy browser that make money by selling opt-in ads.

Chainlink is a lot like 2016 Trump where it's a blank canvas that you can do anything with, Trump 2020 isn't getting the same amount of quality memes because he's a known commodity now. We know exactly what BAT is so all we can really do is wait, the only way it will pump is the way a conventional business pumps, by putting out revenue numbers and increasing users.

Attached: chainlink kanye.jpg (2536x2536, 1.55M)

please tell me someone has it. I remember someone did an edit of an /fa/ meetup and it was done so well I was fooled into thinking people rocked up with moustaches and katanas unironically.

Closing in on $400 and it looks like brave already has working prototypes of a staking system. Get your BAT now to add to a campaign facilitator pool.

Attached: 400.png (417x528, 79.77K)

Correct. If you open a new tab you can see "estimated rewards" which don't always accurately reflect how much you'll earn on next payment date, but usually do.

If you verify with Uphold the BAT goes straight into your wallet. Otherwise you drag and drop a little triangle and collect your BAT on the 5th - 7th of each month. Welcome aboard

Interesting perspective. I think this is pretty accurate. BAT is building on known variables. LINK is an unknown variable like ETH and BTC were. Or something like that.

It's my humble opinion that we absolutely need utility in the crypto world or it's all just fucking vaporware bullshit. If nobody is using cryptocurrency for anything besides pump & dump shilling bullshit, it's all useless dogshit. BAT is actually useful, and hopefully its price will reflect its utility some day.

Thank you for the help and welcome.

Lads when i click on the bat icon it always tells me my wallet is unreachable, even when i reconnect it to uphold. im not really bothered about it, i still get served ads.

anyone else have this issue? not going to ask on reddit because big cam will get stuck into me.

I was really into the whole CPA/PPC thing, once upon a time. It is a token for a dead economy.

If I ever see the US fed start dishing out pp slaps and actually busting up the monopoly Google/Facebook have on the web and advertising, then I will go all in on BAT, but that is not going to happen.

Donald Trump is not going to tank two of the biggest most profitable companies in the world so that I can go back to spamming big dick pills and CLICK HERE TO WIN A FREE iPod. I really wish he would, but he wont.

I've had this from time to time. I think I logged into uphold via the website and added BAT and it eventually reconnected on its own. maybe if you ping @BraveSampson on Twitter he can help you out, or bat-chriscat on rebbit

checkd,

open my uphold through the browser and its all working again. thanks for your help matey

I don't think Brave's success necessarily relies on the immediate failure of Facebook/Google. It relies on their failure over time, and not necessarily the COMPANY'S failure, but rather the advertising models of these companies.

Their advertising models are already in constant flux and decline. They've been proven fraudulent and unsustainable over and over. People are pretty constantly catching on to the harmful data harvesting that has been going on.

This shit is a slow burn, but if Brave/BAT can keep chugging ahead, and the BAT ecosystem can really take off, then we'll have a slow shift to a new way to use the internet. Might never happen, and if it does it'll take like a decade.

Anyways that's my take. Doesn't mean BAT will ever be worth shit, though.

wtf wow
thats a solid stack of BAT

Bros, just wait until BAT clears $0.85. Sky is the limit.

because first of all you dont need bat to use brave and second I get this shitcoin for free by clicking the ad scrolling fast and leaving. why actually would invest in this

just saw this fucking website is back up:

memeatlas.com/BAT-memes.html

absolutely based. I know the user that runs memeatlas used to browse BAT threads.

Brave hinges on its success as well as the shortcomings of competitors in the ad market, and browser market.

The thing about brave is that google and facebook don't have to be dismantled. Brave just needs to build an ad platform that is competitive with market rates. The competition on google and facebook just drives ad prices higher and higher. Theres less competition on brave right now so a prudent ad agency should buy space before the rest of the market catches up. If anyone remembers google and facebook when their ad suites launched, early advertisers were raking in money hand over fist because nobody caught on. When everyone copied them the cash dried up but the platform started raking in all the cash.

We need better memes guys. Step it up.

Theres been a thread up everyday for 3 weeks with 75+ replies. Impressive for such a poor performing coin.

You don't get it though, spam never made that much money. The targeted adds the big guys sell make INSANE amounts of money. Some clicks on stuff like debt consolidation go for like $50+ on Adwords. $50 a fucking click.

I've used some of the newer FB offerings too, some suck, but some are amazing, like the pay per instant message one. For a huge percentage of businesses, it is better to put their money into the pay per IM thing than any other kind of advertising. Bang for buck is insane and FB is starting to beat the whole "ad blindness" thing by Skinner boxing people so hard with their platform.

I really don't see the big guys going anywhere, the advantage they have for stuff like demographic targeting is just too crazy with too much traffic.

Attached: zuckerberg.jpg (640x481, 33.14K)

Yeah, it simply can't go above a dollar. It will destroy the utility.

Attached: 220px-2008_Jared_Taylor.jpg (220x254, 20.5K)

I made this meme. Enjoy.

>It's a great use case
what is the use case of holding BAT?

A coin almost as unchanging in price as Tether, lmao. How the fuck has this coin crabbed for 3 years straight?

This project is terrible. It should've mooned at least to 1$ already and yet it sits on the sidelines, while brave browser is growing, BAT barely pumps. It +pumped this week because numoney. Watch it fall back to 15c in the br

what is the pay per IM on facebook? I haven't heard of it.

>the advantage they have for stuff like demographic targeting is just too crazy with too much traffic

It's going to be a niche advertising platform for a long time, maybe even forever. I think Brave's big bet is on the whole privacy aspect of the platform. There isn't an advertising platform on the entire internet that respects your privacy at such a global scale as Brave/BAT do. That's a solid advantage to have over these big guys.

Attached: batjennie.jpg (240x240, 17.16K)

also BAT just double topped at ~34 cents on Coinbase lel. Get ready for the dump back to 24-26 cents and then downward crab for the rest of the year, bros
