Investment Advice

Im a 17 yo guy in high school & im steeled in the fact that I dont want to be like those gucci wearing fags with no money. I have a job & right now I mostly just save until I can figure out how to turn my money into more money.

Im mostly ignorant on the subject with just basic knowledge, what can I do at this age to put me ahead & leave my peers behind?

A lot of people are going to reply to this with fud and bullshit.
Spend 80% of every paycheck on PNK. Just fucking do it. Read the whitepaper if you want, but I’m guessing you’re less interested in technology than you are in making fucktons of cash at a very young age.
When PNK hits $4, sell everything and dump your profits into either Filecoin or Coda Protocol. Do as I say and you’ll be able to retire before your friends finish college. You’re welcome.

Go on youtube and learn all you can about personal finance and investing. Also, keep saving, buy yourself a little Honda or Toyota if you need to commute to work, if not ride the bus. Save, save, and save for years. By the time you’re 22 you will be well off. Don’t be sacred of risk, but only take smart risks.

I'm 18 and I threw a spare 350$ into buying 106 link and now I'm apt 1850. If u see a good investment opportunity take it. Don't waste your money on gay stable shit your young u should take high risk high reward. I had a friend who invested art the same money as I did in the S&P500 and his portfolio returns are much gayer than mine. And he's going to an ivy lmao.

buy link and never sell

Part Time job ---> RSR (may be illegal for 56%ers though so do your own research desu).

I just finished HS (im 17) and I secured a 191k bag with my summer job shekels. Best luck user.

Buy things when they are cheap. Sell them when they are expensive. Buy something else ASAP so you don't lose purchasing power. Repeat over the course of your life.

also learn to spot a pump and dump. there are hundreds of shills on this board don't trust them

If nothing else, put fiat into savings account with interest that earns. That alone will save you money in the long run. If I had done this when I was younger I would have saved over a thousand dollars

Be extremely wary about taking out student loan as well unless you have amazing reason to

bruh 191k? lucky rich ass

What is filecoin?

buy low sell high

t. 20 with 1M

I know this is step 1 but an intimidating part for me was choosing a brokerage firm & finding stuff I can use to buy & sell shit

Resisting my urge to pajeet post since I see other PNKers already have, my sweet underage tadpole. Since you’re young it’s okay to take bigger risks now than in your 30s but you should still invest in “stable” things too. I would consider 80% high risk and 20% stable. Apple stock is going to grow exponentially in the coming years, so when you turn 18 open up baby’s first RH account and purchase some + other stable stocks. Put some of your money into PNK and browse Zig Forums unironically to get a hang of how to filter out the bullshit shills here. Download Blockfolio and start tracking the coins you think are promising, that way you get a feel for it before putting up money. Just remember that you can always outspend your income so live frugally and never, ever let your friends or girlfriend know about your money.

What was your initial investment user?

Something you’ll never be smart enough to get rich off of.

19 year old zoomer here with 50k porfolio
Learn how to invest in uniswap shitcoins, once your porfolio gets to 10k don’t even bother showing up to work lmao, spending all your time on uniswap will get you better returns
learn how to manage risk, never go all in, put less coins in more risky investments and more coins in less risky investments
Lmao lame ass boomer tier advice, maybe this worked in the 80s but any zoomer that puts fiat in a savings account is going to get ass fucked by inflation, thanks boomers
Better off just gambling it in crypto lol

Im painfully aware that I gotta live poor to live rich.
thank you bro, youtube and google dont seem to give me the information I need as straight as you

Two words: leverage trading.

Unless OP can pay off shit he's leveraging i would not recommend it. Ideally spend all your free cash on COINS like LINK, PNK, RSR, STA, XRP etc.. These actually have a good future ahead.

Zoomer gang in this bitch but where do I store my gains then?

How do you profit of of shitcoins? 90% of them seem way too scammy for me.

Well, we're in a bullrun right now so, assuming you're investing in uniswap you can just reinvest your gains in other decent shitcoins or just keep it in ETH
desu you should never try to hold these shitcoins, flip it for ETH, eventually when you get alot of ETH you can stake it and get passive income
if you feel like storing your gains in crypto is too risky, you can just cash out to fiat i guess, but be wary of inflation, or you can keep it in BTC or Precious Metals

You can store coins on MEW until you purchase a hardware wallet like the Ledger Nano S. I would NOT recommend storing coins on your exchange such as Binance or Coinbase. MEW is probably one of the best paper wallets out right now. It's super easy and user friendly.

people say that it's easy to spot a scam, but honestly half of the scam coins these days go up anyways

you'll have to figure it out yourself along the way because shit changes, but don't buy into ampleforth clones anymore, people are becoming tired of those
find a recently released coin that hasn't pumped yet, look at it's telegram to make sure it isn't a complete obvious pajeet scam, get on it, wait for a x2 or x3, get out,
or get in on a presale, but make sure it at least tries to be legit
when you got your profit, get out and move onto the next one, and RISK MANAGEMENT

Legit talk, between RSR and PNK which looks like it has a better roi. I see the PNK schill a lot, read the white paper and honestly seems a little cheesy. Haven't read the white/yelllow on RSR yet but from what I here it's "the first" decentralized coin?

Where can I learn more about uniswap. I'm 38 and absolutely hate my day job which is working from home right now. Would rather make additional money if possible

Aight thanks man. I'll try risking a small amount first and see how it goes I guess. Still gonna keep most of my money in actual projects tho coz I don't really trust shitcoins.

>read the white paper and honestly seems a little cheesy.
You don’t get it. It’s ok, just read it again.

Get on the crypto band wagon early, sign up for coinbase, and download Argent. I made a thread about argent here:
