Ok so basically for a moment they announced a partnership with a guy behind the Cryptid currency. He sort of had this hipster marketing shit and I dug in. There weren't any deals yet but they announced they might be working with him. They created a pair and stuff.
Went on the website and it looked like dogshit crypt-id.com
Now admins are taking shit from crazy dude. Anyways I'm glad they listened and actually cancelled a partnership just cuz I called out the sus. Made me have more faith.

Cryptid Tyrant wanted to pool Cryptid with Waifu on Uniswap, and devs figured it was okay. Community manager let Tyrant make the announcement, which he cast as a full on partnership, in flowery Tyrant language. Sounded like he was being brought on as a dev and merging the projects.
People were justifiably confused, other devs pulled the plug and I think kicked him from the Telegram. The WAIF-CID pool is no more.
It does show that devs can learn and correct very quickly. Long-term it's for the best. It was just so weird, though. I think Tyrant is just such a strange character that I don't know what to make of it.
