The cool thing about gold is that no matter the time period we mine it at about a 2% increase a year which is what economists say you should aim for in inflation, as technology gets better and our economy grows faster this 2% increase stays stable almost like it’s designed like that. By the time we can effectively space mine our economy will grow so fast that mining asteroids will still only yield a 2% increase a year in inflation... in other words priced in faggot
