They will test you

It is constant, the worst will come from the people drawing lines in bold all caps text "I TOLD YOU SO".
The relentless barrage of half wits and moonboys swapping their golden ticket for literal trash because "the chart looks juicy".
I feel for you if you have actually been stupid enough to tell others about your get out of cage free card. Family comments can cut the deepest of all.
You have to understand that the entire space is full of a cancer, metastasizing too quickly and leaving rotten mutated cells in it's wake. The only effective treatment is to cut it all out at once and throw it into the garbage.
I do not believe that many of you Anons truly understand just how close we are to the true singularity. I will not be vague or speak in riddles, you do not need to roll trips for this information it is all out there and it has gotten to the point where we have put out so much disinformation it is difficult to actually see what it right in front of us.
This is something most of us know, but we rarely talk about.
SWIFT is currently running a Hyperledger subnet, a kind of personal Fabric network. They have multiple endpoints in this network one of them is even ingesting rolling build output directly from the Develop branch on Github.
In November 2020 all banks using swift will be required to use the new ISO 20022 standard, this migration is not something any of them can opt out of. Part of this migration will be the transfer of the vast majority of the incentive Chainlink tokens to back their nodes. The initial rollout will not be tied into ETH in any meaningful way, some data feeds will be stored there for integrations and staking will be tied in to ensure data quality internally.
The network will still be running real Chainlink Oracles though backed by Chainlink tokens, it is blockchain agnostic for a reason and hooking into a private Hyperledger network is no different than Ropsten.

South Korea was the first public bone thrown to the Chainlink team, a kind of production proving ground to back real crypto custody and flush out any price feed issues. I do not have any special insider information on when this kind of information will be made public, though I suspect Smartcon will provide further insight.
If you are hard up for money or you are an active daytrader then do what you will with your tokens. When this type of information goes fully mainstream in a delivery format that they can actually digest the demand for Chainlink will be astronomical.
The data flowing through this new financial web will fuel the entire market, this is not just simple cross border bank to bank transfers we are talking about. They have been writing financial instruments into Solidity for years now. Part of moving money around is you never let it not make you more money when it is sitting somewhere. Money has velocity and it never goes unused at this scale, Chainlink will be automating it all in a trustless manner with complete transparency to it's vested parties.

Undervalued thread. Thank you, user. I must ask, though- I thought the Swift partnership was debunked? Or is that more fud? I was told repeatedly that Swift is not 'parterned' with link and that it's merely a PoC that may not even get used beyond something interesting for nerds to poke at. Am I tard, or am I missing something?

Not trying to FUD, I am legit asking.

Nulinkers, weak hands, and redditors are all getting shaken out right now because none of them have read the white paper and none of them actually know anything.

It does hurt to see number go down but I’ve been here since 2017. No way I’m gonna act like a weak handed faggot now

Agreed. I only hope they find their way before they are truly too late. Everyone who hodls will make it. I can feel it. We've had worse dumps for longer and crabbing before.

this incessant psyop
fuck satanists

the problem is the pile on comes from our fellow man, who have been turned against us in hate due to pure greed

ever wondered why does a btc whale not want others to make it now?
this changed at some point, og whales used to want to share, and would encourage others to get involved in the space
now there is so much hate and competition

cant we just all be friends like in elementary school?

I've been here since 2017 as well, somehow making $10,000 in an hour doesn't have as much impact as losing the same amount of money. No emotions here.
We shouldn't even be done with this pump yet according to most people's TA. I'm expecting a giant green dildo later this week.

Shit, we're pumping now. I still don't hold much stock in TA, positive or negative, but we'll see how things turn out. I think most folk need to zoom out and take a breather. Shit, I'm convinced we'll need a few more years before Link is truly ready and we see the singularity. Wouldn't be surprised if we hit 20 something and crab for a while like we did at four.

>The initial rollout will not be tied into ETH in any meaningful way
You better be right. ETH is a fucking dumpster fire and unless chainlink phases out of it it's ogre.
Do you have anything to substantiate this claim?

im not op but do yourself a favor and watch youtu.be/o6frxYOk4fA
keep in mind that sergey is at the "family table" and that the two hosts of the event, both directly responsible for decisions that affect literal trillions of dollars of capital movement, repeatedly ask those in attendance to network with sergey. just imagine how much their time is worth and then think about how much effort they're making on behalf of sergey at the risk of their reputations.

It is confusing, the "debunking" as you put it was the R3 Corda project meant to be backed by Ripple.
But unlike Chainlink Swift actually had a complete breakdown of negotiations due to RippleNet being a direct competitor.
Since that time they have not changed course and still are going live in November with price reference feed oracles that are described as decentralized.

LOL, we are the Satanists.
What do you think the Hexagon means?
Your god will bow before us.

No one actually knows the substance of their work. We know they have done work in the past and it seems likely that there's something substantial going on. Important to keep in mind is that they have never claimed having a partnership with Swift

Oh, thank you. I'll have to watch this. I still believe in the project pretty deeply, but I was just curious. Thank you, user. :)

Oh. Well. Good to know. I guess others got confused. Full steam ahead.

I guess people are putting words in eachothers mouths, then. Typical fud. And to think, the banking sector is only *ONE* place where Oracles connecting data to the blockchain for smartcontracts can be used. Just one, and it's massive. We're in for a good run.

This.
>t. newfag linklet who actually read the white paper.

I'm looking at $28 as being the semi optimistic top for this pump and $38 as my optimistic prediction for post smartcon announcement price. I put quite a bit of stock in fractals and they've nailed most of the piece action in this pump so far, although last week was a lot better than I anticipated. We'll see though. Not like I'm selling anyways.

Agreed. Don't we dump after presentations and conferences, though?

these crashes are nice, they get rid of the weak hands and line my wallet with more linkies

Looking forward to smartcon. Gotta Quarantine from work for the next couple of weeks. I had a scary dream that LINK plummeted to $5 and the only thing I could think of was to buy more. Ive been in the game since sept 2017 buying in at seventeen cents a goddamn token. Im all in baby no matter what happens. This is a project you want to HOLD for as long as fucking possible. The most of my stack I will ever fucking sell is 10%. Just depends on how staking goes.

Considering how new this space is I have been thinking about coding on solidity. Imagine if you were able to create a Chainlink node for a popular video game like Dota, DFO, TF2, etc. They have already came up with a smart betting system for Path of Exile powered by Chainlink.

It is also important to note the "Flare Network" and it's timing is not a coincidence. The announcement and unorthodox full media blitz from Ripple was in response to them learning how far along and how much Swifts next gen protocol was going to leverage smart contracts.
This was the key talking point in the industry, that Ripple simply lacked the basic tools needed to write effective automated financial instruments.
Ripple is in the end just a ledger with metadata attached to it, the escrow system it designed as a stop gap to fill basic needs was not complex enough to do much more than hold and release funds. It is also not inherently trustless. Which when talking about two parties and huge sums of money is truly invaluable.

Checked and yep. Haven’t heard the Eth thing before but I have NOT seen the eth thing where I thought I would. sold all my eth couple days ago for tezzies and sats

It is the first place prize of the Colorado Hackathon

That one I knew about. I saw the first post about Flare here and it immediately set off alarm bells as being completely inorganic. People talk about shills quite a bit but Flare and Ripple really, truly, has paid shills. I follow your logic on the technicals but the way they posted the exact same copypasta bullshit trying to be an oldfag while shilling flare was so obvious.

Holy shit, we are gonna be rich?

>In November 2020 all banks using swift will be required to use the new ISO 20022 standard
I thought ISO 20022 was due to be implemented by Nov 2021 and had been since postponed to end of 2022
finextra.com/newsarticle/35764/ecb-steps-in-over-swifts-iso-20022-migration-delay

Not if we hear anything about steaks. That could change everything. But realistically yes we will dip after the conference. I'm swinging 20% of my stack at whichever target we settle at so I can accumulate more if the dip takes us down sub $20 again

I really don't think we'll hear about staking at the conference. Something tells me they're gonna just tweet about it at random one day and everyone will lose their goddamn minds simultaneously, they seem like they'd do that.

False
swift.com/standards/iso-20022-programme/new-approach-iso-20022-adoption

Its November 2021 for testing and transition is from 2022 to 2025

HOW MUCH LINK DO U NEED TO STAKE UR LINKS I ONLY HAVE 100

How can we confirm this?

We know as much as you do, user. 100 probably won't be enough, and neither will my 800, most likely. C'mon. Nobody knows anything about staking yet.

there gonna use Band

Long term that will be plenty. Keep piling up your bags while you still can.
