Is it worth it?
How do I learn to code
Udemy.com for directly applicable information, if you wanna spend money.
Freecodecamp.com and coursera.com for still decent information without spending money.
Yes it’s worth it. If you wanna make a career out of it tho, try to learn a more advanced skill like data science or machine learning after learning how to code.
I am in the process of doing the whole lurn2code meme. Id say start with html and css to build basic web pages, then get into javascript which is the only one of those three that's real programming. Buy some $10 webdev course on udemy and go through it. You don't have to stick with javascript but its a good introduction to coding and pretty useful to know in general
learn python or something easy
IT consulting is the real deal. 100% white. Been in there for 7 years now. Super social because you're constantly going to different places. Basically do their networking, set up their machines, build IT systems, build their Cloud, etc. Not very hard work but pays like nuts and unlike programming this is actually extremely social work. Met 3 girls through this job, something no development dude can ever say.
kek yeah should only take OP 5 minutes to learn all of that
Doesn't data science require difficult mathematics?
Also any idea on how fast I could teach myself to be proficient enough for job?
What? It's not hard but they offer many traineeships to anyone motivated enough to learn and who wants loads of cash.
learn to code or buy AMPL and study AMPL and learn the AMPL.....hmmmmm
Would that require a degree or experience?
