Im always in the ref. Any of you guys paid someone to invest your money for you successfully? Or be alerted for hot stocks?
Connor Diaz
If by that you mean an investment fund I did, and I should have invested myself. Motherfuckers dropped like flies during corona and didn't recover well during the V recovery
Liam Robinson
No I just spend way too much time on /smg/
# It’s part of FAGTMAAN
# Car companies are extending their 3 year leases into 5 year leases to decrease the supply of used inventory thus keeping prices high
Luke Richardson
just buy an ETF like QQQ or SOXX if you don't know how to make a couple good picks. stay away from leveraged ETFs because clearly you aren't very smart
Guys, Im thinking of buying airliners stocks, am I retarded?
Jayden Garcia

How do I into stonks? I heard that Tesla and apple can make me a lot of money, I just don’t know how to buy any. I have $5k saved up and want to put that into Tesla

I'm trying to time seeking my TSLA call. If day of record is August 21, you have to own the stock by close August 19, right, because T+2 days for it to show up to them? Which means tomorrow might be big pump as people want the split, then dump...but they have to keep the shares through August 28 to receive the plus 4...so basically, it might theoretically stay level for a whole week...or something.
Aaron Hill
It's literally over. The first one out at these levels win. It will be a free fall at market open
Don't! Long hodl cost average spy and qqq if you don't want to actively trade. And don't ever panic sell! Paying some fund to do your stuff will perform similar or sometimes worse than just doing long hold indexes.
Christopher Carter
Anyone good enough at trading to be worth paying doesn't need or want your money. You should focus on getting income elsewhere and putting it into index ETFs.
Jose Peterson
Why aren't cruises going down yet? I sold my RCL at 61 and want to rebuy in the 40s.
Throw in a little more and buy 3 shares now before the split. It price theoretically stayed level, you'll have 12 more shares Monday August 31 worth the same total amount you put it because of le splitz.
Austin Phillips
China Unicom was up 11% today.
Last week it was up 30%.
I literally shilled this stock for weeks on Zig Forums but no one wants to buy it cause hurr durr China bad
So I plan to sell a covered call for XYZ company. Let's assume it costs 1.00 for simplicity reasons. In this hypothetical scenario 30 people decided to buy my call at 1.00. However there was some market turmoil and the call expires worthless. Do I collect $3000 in this scenario for doing nothing? Is it really that easy?
I think it's AMD but I'm skeptical that it should be up there desu.
Samuel Gonzalez
should I short JP Morgan opening bell or will (((they))) try to pamp it?
Samuel Campbell
You'd have to sell 30 calls, not just 1. Selling one would get you 100 bucks. Selling 30, 3k. But if the stock goes up, you're screwed.
Sebastian Davis
I’m going all in tomorrow at open suck my dick gay bear
I messed up, it’s FAGTMANN
Facebook (lol) Amazon Google Tesla Microsoft Apple Netflix Nvidia

They don't (much) unless there is worse news than current. Cruises and airlines are trading at levels where everybody in is willing to overlook all shit revenue on the idea that this is the worst of it right now, the companies will survive, and revenue will rapidly improve to some significant fraction of pre-covid numbers. Only increased travel bans or bankruptcy will cause them to dive from these prices.
Best, most prosperous strategy for 98% of people. A lot of first year traders think they can beat it, (they probably did this year, a huge bull run), but they will learn in a few years that they aren't even matching the S&P500 Year-to-date
Only if you sell 30 covered calls, meaning you need at least 3000 shares of your underlying stock. Also, "doing nothing" in this scenario is accepting the risk that your underlying stocks won't move drastically down or up in the meantime, which would make you lose more than the premium on the calls.
Jose Diaz
Also the worst goddamn spreads I've ever seen on an options chain. I think lack of liquidity is the only thing keeping this stock alive.
Brayden Campbell
I've got close family in the industry that know RCL and others in the area are not setting sail whatsoever until spring 2021. Are you saying investors are seriously going to ignore a yearlong absence of revenue?
Jayden Rogers
TSLA
Isaiah Walker
I'm not familiar with RCL's specific situation. My only position in the sector is Norwegian.
Aiden Moore
You're gonna be fine user! Don't sell that share for a long time.

How is investing in Chinese stocks risky when most respected investors have said China is being managed well and that they have a big future. Of course, it helps that the company has a low PE ratio and debt to liquidity ratio..
If anything you are diversifying your portfolio to any shift in power that may or may not happen in the next 10-20 years..
no kidding, im about to liquidate the rest of my portfolio except for TSM (i did too much DD into it and i'm emotionally attached to it when i'm so convinced it's going to be a monopoly) and put it all into either QQC or HQU.
Jonathan Jones
I just bought 65k of VIGIX today. It's like 40% FAGMANN anyway
