Midwit traps

What do you guys think of buying corporate bonds going into the election as a protection from a spook sell off if the child molester wins?

based and brown pilled

If TSLA goes above $2000 in the first hour, I'll admit my idiocy for doubting Elon, capitulate and Market Buy. Please dump, please please fucking dump.

Provided they don't go bust and get delisted, won't they eventually recover to their averages?

TSLA has.a bigger market cap than 3x the sum of the market cap of all other american car companies put together

Don't fall for the meme.

so trying something a little different today, with the tick charts instead of time. but these are the levels im working with today on AMD, looks like im gonna be buying instead of shorting. im gonna buy at the yellow, orange, and red lines. i'll sell half at 0.50/share profit from the average. if it just dumps forever and i don't make a profit by the end of the day i'll just eat the loss.

wish me luck boys.

They are not a car company.

>with the tick charts instead of time
Do you have volume charts on that platform?

TSLA also has hidden value in SpaceX, Boring, and Neurolink. While I'm not part of the cult, it's hard to refute that Elon himself drives a huge value for TSLA

Yeah, to me I consider Tesla more of a consumer electronics / technology company.

I wish I was a believer in buying the stock, but I never have been and I continue to be wrong lol. But, I'm still doing okay.

SRNE CHEAPIES YOU SAY? YES PLEASE!!

Do I buy iTM Tesla call today?

#
I did. Basically one of the investors and former managing partners of the place im working at now was brought forth an opportunity. The guy that brought it to him basically just had a land agreement he was trying to convert into a license for recreational marijuana.
The thing is you have to go through a million hoops which requires a big network plus know how plus capital.
You get hung up in application fees, lobbyists, lawyers, and real estate deposits early on.
They burned through all their money very early and needed more funding.
I was at the right place at the right time and told him I had 100k liquid and could and wanted to try and get another 100k on debt. I was series A funding so I got a good deal IMO. The next round of funding was to raise $2 million.

Airlines are boom and bust industries. They need bankruptcies to force consolidations, mergers, and acquisitions as happened after both 2001 and 2008. The more GIBBS gets pumped into them, the longer the pain will be. They are all still bleeding cash which reduces the appeal of airlines stocks in the first place: stock buybacks.
These airlines haven't even started feeling real pain yet as a lot of their GIBBS expires soonish. The only way a lot of them are going to be surviving this might be issuing of shares (AAL already did) or bankruptcy. Remember, bankruptcy allows a company to survive if done right but it wipes out shareholders. DAL, AAL, and UAL have all declared bankruptcy before and in circumstances not as bad as right now. There are very real secular changes that might have begun with business travel that won't help things. Families likely will be uncomfortable with flying due to residual rona fears and because of tightening budgets as well.
Airlines won't move except for the occasional short squeeze until maybe around christmas this year. Any real recovery is going to be around next summer. Price memory and "PENT UP DEMAND" memes literally trapped most of robinhood.

1. They need to make the market only open for 1 or 2 hours.
2. They need to make it so that you can only do a few, if not only one trade per stock per day, during those 1 or 2 hours.
3. They need to make it not possible to trade below 1 cent increments.
This would fix the stock market.

yes hehe
market buy Tesla
market buy Tesla you fools

what are volume charts? this is what it looks like for choosing time frames, do you mean range charts?

Attached: time frames ToS.jpg (763x557, 70.22K)

Thanks for your input, user

Attached: 1567425178689.jpg (500x600, 51.3K)

Is it broken?

MMs would just trade even more amongst themselves in dark pools.
Really the change that needs to be made is to adopt what IEX did across the exchanges. A forced market delay (IEX literally uses miles of cable) so that so much money isn't in stupid fiber optics and real estate near the exchanges.
HFTs are parasites.

if kodak doesnt drop to 5 dollars today i will locate rodrigos house

No, I mean candles that always contain the same amount of volume.
Make a new candle => feed price data into the candle until the specified volume threshold is reached => close candle/ make new candle.
Doesn't seem like ToS has it.

Compare their P/E then.

Not the same company.

Tesla is an amazing company, but the stock price is stupid.

>moons to $2000
>splits stock to $400
>moons to $600 due to retail investors finally able to easily afford it
>joins S&P500
>announces another breakthrough cutting edge tech
>even more engineers dream about working for them
>opens more gigafactories
>reduces the production price and creates an affordable car for the masses
>announces electric airplanes, saying goodbye to commercial jet fuel use
>sister companies provide free satellite internet for the entire planet and land people on Mars
>astronauts cruising around the surface of Mars with their Tesla All-Terrain Rover
I'd say $2000 for soon-to-be 5 shares is a steal. You're betting on humanity's future here.

no because even if demand (earnings) go right back to normal, those companies all have a bunch of new debt that they had to take on to try and stay afloat for months
so that will be a stone around their necks for decades to come
also earnings will not go right back to pre-virushoax levels

Surely Tesla will open red today

So just say no to democracy and the Constitution. Yes. finally

>hold a stock over earnings because everyone else including analysts think it will be fine
>misses earnings because their piece of shit german holdings missed their earnings
>everyone reeeeee's and the stock dumps -5%
Lesson learned, NEVER TRUST FUCKING G*RMANS

DPHC shares wil become RIDE, right? Will it be 1:1 and automatic?

If it doesn't... then what?

None of them have Elon.

>looking at upcoming IPOs
Jesus, its a wasteland for a while. Nothing looks remotely interesting. Palantir seems like it could go full meme. I am still waiting on my boy Marqeta. Any other interesting things on the horizon, IPObros?
I honestly can't tell what is ironic posting about TSLA and what isn't anymore.
>inb4 really angry TSLA memelord wants to start his worship fight with me
No

Nah, its fine. No one believed in Amazon and Google when they started, Tesla can still fail, but only time will tell. I will take my chances, what else is there to buy that looks so much into the future?

/coffeegang/ where ya at? about to have my first cup. I get to work from home today thank god (some days I have to go on). I can't find Chemex filters ANYWHERE, and I'm gonna run out of them soon.

Attached: coffeePep.png (600x400, 123.51K)

aren't tick charts kinda close to that idea though? they're based on number of trades so on a 500 tick chart each candle represents 500 trades that were made.

what has those? could i see something like that on tradingview or something? never heard of volume charts before but sounds interesting.

You're mentally ill if you think the company is going to be the world monopoly of all EVs (it's what the current price reflects).

We desire more $URA contracts today.

Attached: theta-bird.jpg (1024x749, 62.68K)

Are you on the west coast? I finished my French roast black hours ago

I am gonna yolo and dump a lot of money into Palantir. I've never fucked with IPOs before, seems like most of them crash and burn, but Palantir is backed up by Thiel, Satan himself, tech bros, fundamentals, blah blah. regardless, will the IPO crash hard initially as employees cash out for a quick buck?

>G*RMANS
>Wh*te
why do people do this? Do they not feel embarrassment or do they not realize they're advertising their own retardation?

Amazon or Tesla today?

Attached: 1596843831307m.jpg (1024x576, 105.27K)

East Coast. Just waking up and "signing into" work.

We don’t. We just think he’s got a big head start on the AI and batteries.
Toyota’s CEO isn’t serious about trying to colonize Mars and launching rockets into space. It’s not a car company bro

I feel like AirBnb will be good. No?

>*

Bruh, it's 9AM East Coast. Perfectly fine time to have coffee.

Anything to keep my eye out for today?

Right here user! On my second cup for the day - You can buy chemex filters on amazon, i like the reusable metal ones too

I'm sitting outside a doctors office glued to my phone browsing this place and look looking at stock's, I think I have a addiction

Anyone always nervous 30 min before the opening? I mean... what if TSLA pumps off the bat? What the fuck am I supposed to do?

Attached: 1573260905260.jpg (417x350, 35.82K)

Wait, it literally never occurred to me, but the NYSE opens a 6:30AM PST? That's early as fuck.

>aren't tick charts kinda close to that idea though?
It's probably not too far off but how much is up to an actual comparison.
>what has those?
I don't know any platform which has those.
I've first discovered it on a random site which explained them. I can't find the site anymore and I haven't seen them anywhere else either. A volume based approach seems more logical and natural to me than time or tick.

TSLA'a AI is behind actual AI being developed at GOOG, NVDA, MSFT, etc. I don't know enough about batteries to comment there.
Maybe for swinging but long term I think it has some serious exposure to legal and political pushback in its future.

I always get excited, and then 10 minutes after open I get bored and stop watching it until about noon.

Coffee is the pre game. It’s hard stuff for the markets, skip

Tesla is not the company that will profit from space tech. You're stupid if you think investing in Tesla.is the same as investing in all things Elon.
If for any reason Tesla went bankrupt but SpaceX continued well and stable, you would still lose all your Tesla money.

>You can buy chemex filters on amazon
they seem to be sold out / take forever. I just bought 4x boxes from Williams Sonoma..I'll get them in 2 weeks :(

>i like the reusable metal ones too
I am too afraid to try this. I think the whole reason a Chemex cup of coffee is the best is bc of the paper filter - doesn't it remove the oils and do this & that? I suspect the reusable metal filter would act differently and make a different tasting cup. Unironically the best cup of coffee I've had is with ground beans and a Chemex (w/ paper filter) at my house.

I am still not quite clear on what the hell Palantir does.

GET IN NOW BEFORE THIS SHIT MOONS
>SRNE MOON MISSION IS BACK ON TRACK

Attached: NEWS.png (2229x1282, 232.4K)

What boomer stock do I buy today

>Chemex cup of coffee is the best is bc of the paper filter - doesn't it remove the oils and do this & that

Yeah, it does have a slightly different taste but i keep one handy just in case i run out of paper filters

>the best cup of coffee I've had is with ground beans and a Chemex (w/ paper filter) at my house

agreed, fresh ground beans and a chemex every morning

Can never go wrong with precious metal miners and food producers.

Attached: 1596752434160.jpg (675x601, 65.74K)

I already lost $100 on SRNE. I don't know that I trust it.

Trains, NSC and cp are good

I don't like the metal filters either
You should be able to buy the paper filters at a normal grocery store or target....
you don't have to buy the chemex branded ones, any conical paper filter will do just fine
