How to be more content?

every time I reach a net worth that I thought would satisfy my greed, I just want more. Nicer house, fancier car etc. How do you get over this and enjoy what you have?

I've had days where I got to sleep and wonder with money ill feed myself this month, be more grateful

when you find an answer OP let me know. I used to be happy with $10k, turned that 10K into 120K

now I just don't feel anything. feels like if I become a millionaire nothing will change

Outgrow your greed. Simple, but not easy.

Sorry to hear that fren. I'll try my best.
The probem is that losing money still feels like shit.

live on the edge, 90% risky investments, 10% liquidity. You have to force your mind to take profit by making your survival dependent on it. Fuck ratio, go instinct

You need to define a lifestyle that you want that doesn't include "getting more".

Define what enough is for you in terms of house, location, vehicle, and then get to a net worth that infinitely sustains it.

have sex

lose it all, then you'll truly experience that the hedonic treadmill is a goy's game

Read Meditations from Marcus Aurelius and other literature about stoicism.

sell your stuff and go live in the woods for a bit, user

your reward pathways are fucked
it's never enough
You will never be satisfied with material possessions. The emptiness you feel is probably due to you not starting a family when you have the means to do so, but will not do because of your (merited) fear of getting divorce raped. Sorry user.

Fantasised about this for years. Might be time.

based

My plan isn't to hit up the woods.

I'm going to live in a cheap southeast asian country and focus on reading, working out, dating local chicks, self study, entrepreneurship, investing

SIMPLE ANSWER: do gratitude exercises before sleep and when you wake up. Write them down and speak them. Hand-brain connection. and Speech. it works. All other advice in tthis thread is gay

Once you make-it, you have to start your spiritual journey. Your material possessions start to possess you and will fill you with greed and vanity.

The first step is to realize why you wanted all the nice things. Achieve your true goals with money.

Was talking to my friend about this last night. When we were poor we never thought about money, now that we actually have some, it has become an obsession.

It's literally never enough.

Beat the world then transcend it. Everything is dust compared to the experience of the presence of the Love of God. I was blessed to feel it like having a foundation of indestructible support.

If you try sharing your wealth and using it in the service of God, you will find supreme satisfaction of the heart. Be selfless with a portion of it.

stay living in a shitbox and drive a turdcontainer.
Slowly allow yourself more luxuries.

This but unironically

I spend my money on racing cars so I never have to worry about investing it.

Thank you AAVE but I need a gf to fill the darkness in my heart

>commit small crime
>spend a month or two in jail
>figure out that your freedom is your most prized possession and use your resources to expand it instead of trying you down to a bunch of worthless shit

You’re retarded. Making money is like drinking salt water, the more you drink the thirstier you get.
