How THE FUCK is ANYONE supposed to buy a house in a 70 mile radius of London?
Even if you hit the crypto lottery and get 200k Pounds AFTER TAX you still need another 50-150k pounds if you want more than 2 rooms and not a fucking shit flat where you cant even fart
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
don't forget to pay your """congestion fee""" user ;^)
Why would you, for any reason, want to live near London.
Don't live near London, it's overrated
Fixed your problem
Why the fuck would you want to live anywhere near London? its a shit hole. Ive lived in London my whole life and Im moving to North Yorkshire next year.
just filed my property tax and tv license and sent rest of my wages straight to the good muslim mayor so he can build the big synagogue thanks!
better wages also most more specialized IT jobs are only in cities like Manchester, Liverpool,London etc
cannot fucking wait till remote working is the norm and offices die out
Just make a trip to Wales and live there
move to america. unironically.
Sir, that's called the Green Belt tax. It's the price you pay for the government giving you a beautiful forest to walk through all around the perimeter of London town. Don't forget to pay your car tax, your carbon tax, and your parking fees for all the days you can't drive your car and need to leave it in a garage.
how hard is it to get a visa?
I dont want to spend 20 years paying taxes like a good goy just to be sent back to the now 99% nigger and shitskin infested UK
London fag here.
If you want actual property advice, best thing to do is buy shared ownership. Because its "affordable housing" the property will be undervalued. Live in it for 2 years then "staircase" and buy the other half. Cheap and now with the stamp duty freeze its the best time
t. London House owner through SO
why the fuck would you even want to live in or around London like a fucking rat? Why do people volunteer to live like rats?
London is dead AF right now. I live 35 miles out, 45 min on the train. You can get places for 200k.
Check out places between Leagrave (but not luton, its a fucking shithole) & Bedford. the train runs 24/7 also.
Its very countryside around me
Burgerlands time is done, its a thirdworld shithole
Living in big cities is a trap. 200-500k~ population cities are peak comfy; you get the amenities of a large city without astronomical prices and overccrowding.
Because it's hip and diverse :')
>live in London
>pay a shitton
>Mayor is a shitskin
>gets enriched daily by ""urban youths"" and literal pakis
Why do this to yourself?
Also Milton Keynes is ~30min to Euston
no idea
>Burgerlands time is done, its a thirdworld shithole
Not if you live in a good spot. Especially from a tax perspective. I can't believe the fucking taxes they get from you guys, it's unbelievable.
>shared ownership
>doesnt actually share house with anyone in terms of living in it
what is this jew terminology and how have I not heard about it before
>Not if you live in a good spot.
Disagree, the country is filled with arrogant retards
>Especially from a tax perspective.
they have the most evil tax system in the world.
I pay WAY less tax in the UK than I did in burgerland. People that think the US has low taxes are misinformed, especially once you add the high cost of living.
This. Especially the South.
Just the liberal coasts desu. Texas, Tennessee, and Carolina are very comfy, pic related
lol you have to be a retard to pay higher taxes in the US than the UK. Not sure that is even possible if you tried.
UK taxes are still way to high (Eurofag here). Income tax here is a flat 15%. UK minimum tax is 20% progressively increasing to 45%.
So imagine you're in a fairly high-responsibility job and your salary is 150k. Sounds nice right? No, you only take 82.5k. Where does that money even go? The "struggling and underfunded" NHS? What a scam.
fuck living in london but not near the undergroud
Not to mention VAT, bullshit city taxes, auto taxes... it's unreal.
I make about 150k USD and pay 18% blended tax rate by the time I get done with the home owners deductions and all that. And I live in a state with no state tax and 7% sales tax.
>7% sales tax
I'm jelly. Even in my post-communist utopia our VAT remains 21%. Makes me seethe whenever I see US prices for the same products. At least I'm not a bong.
USA is literally 56% white m8
UK is at least 80
>VAT remains 21%
>post-communist utopia
Hungary?
The USA is built on immigration and most of their immigrants are still better than pakis
we have the worst of the worst
pakis who think they are niggers, and niggers who think they are USA niggers even using terms like feds and shit
>Texas
Crazy high property taxes, Not terrible overall but still wouldn't live there. I don't like mutts, Texans are peak mutt.
>Tennessee
Shithole, the southern people are backwards AF
>and Carolina
I assume you mean North
Guess you know all about living in both countries...
I don't pay for the NHS, I paid about 10% last year. Sadly the gov is cracking down on dividend payments.
i RARELY go into london, as I said the train runs 24/7 (there's a gap between 3am & 5am). I've gotten home quicker than friends that live in shithole parts of london. When I was younger I did live in london propper. I love the countryside + the option of a quick jaunt into one of the worlds largest cities.
My brother has a house with a garden and a driveway in Waltham Forest. Him and his wife had help from my dad and from her family to get money for the down payment. obviously not everyone can just ask their parents for help with a down payment. My dad does not have enough money to help me with a down payment but I'm getting more money when he passes so it's whatever. I'm not buying anytime soon and I want him to live for a long time so I'll just get my own money for a house flipping shitcoins.
>Guess you know all about living in both countries...
Yeah, I have lived in both.
>Where does that money even go?
Oh forgot to answer this.
The interest payment only on the national debt, like all western countries.
Check out 'The Grace Commission'
Shared ownership is essentially you buy half a property and the council / housing association owns the other half. Its yours and no one else lives in it.
Its sold at a 25% discount roughly as most people never buy the other half but if you can afford to its a great option. We went from looking at 2 bed flats to owning a 3 bed house.
Happy days
>AFTER TAX
how black pilling is it to fund the collapse of your own nation?
Same thing with Glasgow and Edinburgh, anywhere decent is overpriced and the commuter towns are shitholes.
I just want a 2 bedroom apartment in cash allowing me to quit my job.
I thought caribbean niggers were somewhat civilized
So you'll know the taxes are very similar in both countries once you've add in state income tax. When you add in health insurance & the general higher cost of living the 'low' tax thing is meme.
The only argument is VAT, which I will give you desu
I've used accountants in both countries btw
