Jordan Gonzalez

Anyone buying F/OSK as a hedge for the WKHS bet?

LLNW got toyed like a whore yesterday and today

Throughout the day as the Nasdaq 100 goes up and down your leverage changes slightly. At the end of the day if the Nasdaq is up you have more principal than you started with but the borrowed amount is the same so you will be slightly less than 3x. Maybe 2.9x or if it's a really good day 2.7x. If the Nas goes down your leverage will end up above 3x so maybe 3.1x or 3.2 or whatever. Figure that out and between 4 and 4:15 New York time every day make sure the leverage is as close to 3x as you can get. Simple as that. >Just do it with LEAPs using Deep ITM calls. It's the same thing. Slippage

Tesla will transition into a company that only makes deep OTM calls on its own options chain and stock splits. No more capex, no more R&D, no more asset depreciation, etc. Think of the fucking margins. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Kayden Anderson
i hope you are kidding

Is it worth it to exercise a call if you think the stock will keep going up even though the option itself is down?
Adam Butler
One week before the split? I'm honestly curious... are you retarded or you just had to pay your rent today?
If it's ITM when close to expiry that can be a good option
Compare the executable value to the price you could sell it for first though, you may be better off selling the option and using the proceeds to buy the stock directly
>Slippage Deep ITM calls with delta ~0.9 BARELY have any slippage especially if you rotate them into new LEAPs
Ian Reyes
One of the ICE options are going to get part of it at least, so it's a good bet. Just bang out some calls that are reasonable. Just remember OSK/F are already "priced in" as they're both established companies, so they're not going to moon as hard as WKHS.
True, Pepsi is the superior cola but I have to say....what gives? What is going to happen to KO? I often trade options here and do very well but lately my calls have been getting absolutely hammered. Most importantly though I have over 500 shares of KO anyways and now im watching it bleed daily, it's starting to get me worried.

Fuck no

RC is the cola of choice among those in the know. Pepsi is for faggots and KO is for people who celebrate diversity.

There's no practical slippage issue for simulated-tvix. You roll once every 6-9 months using a limit order. Spread decreases as you get close to expiration, and volume increases. By the time you reach the approximate point you want to roll, your limit gets triggered no problem.
Adam Sanchez
You’re joking, right? It’s closing around 16.70 today. It does this shit on the weekly. Monday it’s going to low 20’s. News incoming, not the contract yet.
Hudson Morris
No, but if you hold it till you retire, you won't go hungry when you're old.
no the market thinks F bad no matter what good news they get. it would go up like 20 cents if they were given the entire contract which is not possible in the first place
Mason Collins
>trump blocks USPS funding >EV contract falls apart for an indeterminate period of time >90% of /smg/ will become "mango man bad" posts
