The only criticism is actual instrisic value of rebases and what it means for the price, but the distribution is fair and it’s a working protocol (negative AMPL rebases anyone?). The utility is in the whitepaper, it’s inflationary similar to BTC but without mining itself. Simple enough to work, not complex enough to break.
