You need to bid/bond DOT inorder to get a parachain slot. These will be extremely sought after. Also DOTs represent ownership of the network. The network will encapsulate billions/trillions of dollars and the demand of dots will increase

It's a strong bet. DOT is ahead of Cardano by atleast 1.5 years, though it is possible for ADA to win. Eth 2.0 is unproven and even if it gets released, still lacks any kind of onchain governance mechanism.
