How many suicides do you think we will see next year when Hydra is unleashed and a masternode is bringing in $5,000 a day?

Reminder a MN is still only $6000 and is your ticket to lifetime financial freedom

Better be right, I’ve been feeling like these $6000 could be put to better use, but my hands are too iron, for better or worse

I hope this doesn't turn into a shit show. But how do Stakenet plan to solve the lightning channel caps?

>The first part removes the limit to the total amount of bitcoin that can be held in a channel: This limit is currently capped at 0.16777215 BTC, worth about $1,988 at press time. The second strips away the limit to how large an individual payment can be: That limit has been 0.04294967 BTC, worth about $508 at press time.

Written a couple of days ago, I'm sure you've seen it in the discord. So what's the plan, you can't send large amounts, or hold large amounts in the channel?

Bump

Also would like to know the answer on this.
Bump

I don't know much about the LN but why not just open more channels (perhaps thats part of the reason for the Viper hardware?) and or use staked coins/MN to hold more funds on the LN?

The last days im also thinkin about buying a 1 MN suicide stack but im still not sure if there will be enough adoption or if they will even manage to build the lightning and fix their channel problems like other anona mentioned. What is your viewpoint on that anons? Please make me comfy for buyin a MN

>why not just open more channels

But everytime you send btc to lightning, you have to pay the miner fee, right? So what use does this solve if I have to pay the ten miner fees to open ten channels?

>and or use staked coins/MN to hold more funds on the LN?
Yeah but Stakenet isn't in control of the lightning network, surely channel funding is set by LND, not Stakenet. Again, I'm just reading through it just now... But I don't see how this will be super popular if you can't trade large amounts, and like you said, to trade large amounts you have to open multiple channels (and paying the miner fees every time)

Bump, also someone link the discord

Guess we'll just have to wait for a response tomorrow when there's more xsn holders on

>rebranded well known scam
>gets spammed in an obviously coordinated manner by the same pajeets in every thread
>People base promises of future MN income on a billion dollars of volume while current volume is only like 7,000
>Flaw found that makes it untenable and everyone who sunk money into missed out on defi projects going 100x
Gee, who would have thunk it.

Why are you sharing this information? If this supposedly will take off then you don't have to shill.

What's going to happen is that Eth 2.0 will be good enough and this project will fail.

If I'm right then why hasn't anyone else brought it up since it was 0.05c... Surely there's more to it, right?

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.... So what's the maximum trade size going to be on the dex? Is it limited to a certain amount or what.

I have searched the discord for various phrases in this text block and can’t find any results. What channel was it in? Better yet, who wrote it so I can just search for posts by that user?

Here's a tip for ya

I don't care how many times you jeets shill this centralized chink dex

I'M NOT FUCKING BUYING

even kleros is a better project

Not fucking buying

I'm quoting from the wumbo post thingy. It got posted in the lightning network channel by Jo I'm sure.

I just wanna know what the theoretical maximum trade size is gonna be on the dex upon release... Am I gonna be able to trade 5BTC for some shit coin in one go?

That's a scam!

Just saw it. I’m confused what you’re asking, are you asking if the newest lightning version (wumbo) will be able to be used in Stakenet? Or are you asking if lightning itself will be capable of large transactions?

The latest lnd update removes channel limits so it's a non issue or am I missing something?

If it's as lucrative as you say, what's stopping say, Amazon from setting up and running millions of Masternodes, destroying the yields for us peasant 3 Masternoders?

Only 4000 nodes can ever exist

I don't think that's right... Source?

How is 4000 remotely scalable for mainstream adoption. That's be a problem in and of itself

Well for starters there is a hard cap of MNs which is (total supply) / 15000 which is currently around 7000. In practice it will never reach that as there is a balance of profitability between MNs and staking . By the time someone like Amazon finds out about this and accepts its legitimacy there won't be enough XSN on sale for them to buy up

How does the number of MNs relate to scalability? Layer 2 channels aren't limited by amount of MNs

The purpose and reason why you get remunerated for Masternodes implies it is necessary for the ecosystem to run.

If number of masternodes aren't relevant then where are you getting your free money from?

Masternodes are providing a service to the blockchain, for the DEX that means hosting and routing payments through channels among other things. The number isn't the limiting factor, it will be hardware capabilities of the masternodes which can be scaled up as needed

Lot's of retards on Zig Forums who don't understand crypto but happily buy uniswap scams....

a lot of those uniswap scams go up 1000% meanwhile you're here circle-jerking to dreams that fucking amazon is going to buy your bags. I'm not here to fud, I'm just here for the comedy.

wumbo channels remove the limits in LN channels
