As I am sure you know, Economics 101 shows that prices go down during depressions and recessions.
Less people have money and it is harder to make money, that means people will be spending less. This means less buyers for goods in general and sellers have to compete for limited business still available.
We have had this chinkflu scam for half a year already. I haven't seen price drops yet. Most businesses you go to are still charging the same prices if not more and expect you to be thankful they are still open. Real estate and used car prices are constant in my area. I guess boomers aren't desperate yet.
Have any anons out there found price drops on anything?
