NFT blockchain tech creates undeniable, decentralized ownership confirmation and transfers for regular artists and commision sellers. With the proper dapp, you can even restrict access to the art itself based on NFT minting/ownership. It also privides proof of originality, if some fag tries to mint and claim that a piece of artwork is something they made. Peer-confirmed blockchain timestamps can prove that is obviously not the case. Deviantartfags may eat it up, they have lots of OC DONUT STEEL types floating around.

I gaurantee you, the first blockchain service to successfuly open a minting dapp for NFTs that ties an image hash to its genesis wallet as the sole person with minting rights will gradually recieve all of these artists looking for a new platform to sell their shit. As it is those left on Patreon have to go through a bunch of hoops to clamp down access to their patron only art. An NFT blockchain allows for them to mint x amount for their subscribers and automatically send access tokens to their wallets, viewable on any compatible dapp website. If you can successfully create a user-friendly website with wallet generation and management for the crypto newfags, you've just unlocked a market worthy of a 100m+ marketcap.

That's not the goal of the project as of now, but a lot of the groundwork for such a system would already be made if they continue their current plans. I can easily see this being pursued later on. but that is quite a bit in the future. NFT and digital art is being brought up at Smart Con, so the WAIF team could very well get some VCfags to fund a project like that. Especially so due to this being an area of expertise for the team and its community, much moreso than the usual crypto dev who understandably just wants to make something that prints money.
