I'm ready user. I am currently in the closed mainnet release and it's been smooth as gravy. I have a feeling it wont take off immediately, but it definitely will once more people find it. How does staking akro works?
You literally press a button and your AKRO is sent to a staking contract (at least that is how it worked in the closed mainnet). The UI wasn't working during the closed mainnet trial since they were still working on it, but it should display your staking rewards in the UI.

Yeah you get AKRO + ADEL from staking. Not entirely sure how it works underneath but that's good since it's built for the masses. Not sure about whether providing liquidity will give you ADEL.
I have 50k akro, is it worthwhile even staking? will I make many rewards or should I be accumulating more right now

Up to you, the mainnet didn't show the rewards earned (but I should get them later today), and will not be representative of what to expect when it launches properly. So I can't really tell you since I don't know and whether or not it's worthwile to you is up to you.

I also was a part of the whitelisted early mainnet. You could simply stake 18,500 AKRO or you could also allocate DAI or USDC to liquidity pools. I staked the 18,500 AKRO. If you have experience using Metamask, it was a simple click of a button and saying yes twice to the metamask transaction and the second time was agreeing to stake. It would likely be super friendly to the average person. We were allowed in a special discord and the only issues I saw were people hooking up wallets other than metamask, or inexperience in general but most everyone had no trouble.

So i need to send my AKROs to metamask? I havent tried sending Akro to a different wallet. How fast is the network confirmation?
It's an eth token, so the same transaction as all the others. I didn't send any, I have assets split 45% Ledger, 45% Trezor and 10% on exchanges. Metamask has the ability to link up to both ledger and trezor.
Oh, i have all my akros in an exchange. Fucking gas fees, man. Idk if it is worth staking for.
It requires gas to get into the staking contract too. On the day they opened it up for the whitelisted users gas was up to 265 gwei, mine wasn't that bad, but it did cost me like $18. Hopefully it's worth it. We'll find out today what kind of rewards we've reaped.
