is that really bad advice. seems like if i work for free while crashing at my parents place and I do well they will hire me
Jesus fucking Christ the absolute state of boomers.
Go and do it user, I fucking dare you. Fucking Borneo’s and there bullshit advice. Here’s the actual pro advice - buy knee pads and suck and fuck and say yes to whatever you’re told. God I can’t wait to escape wage slavery.
u know, u guys are going to do this, once they stop sending in those checks and after ur shitcoins loses their values, except by the time u do it there will be alot of more zoomers.
>they will hire me
Maybe, thats a big maybe.
>Work for free
Lmao, unpaid internships are just as much of a scam. This retard is next level the fucking retarded boomer.
>Fucking Borneo’s
>Just pick up a mop and start cleaning
If they were actually free I'd do it but
>what is transportation
>what are new clothes
>what is opportunity cost
user you have to understand that LinkedIn is a larping website, it’s extremely democratic and if you speak the truth you will never get a job anywhere ever again. Most corporate fags, but not all, are truly vile horrible people.
Well he is not wrong.
If you were a business owner, who would you hire if you had the choice? The entitled zoomer who's doing nothing but complaining on the Internet, or the dude who continued hustling despite the economic crisis?
user do you honestly believe jobs are awarded on hard work and merit? It’s all about how much you can suck and fuck and yes to whatever the fuck your told. It’s called wage salving for a reason.
i'll hire the entitled zoomer if he ads to the diversity of the team lol
If there is one thing I would be OK with the state tracking down on when it comes to intervening in the market, it would be the free internship bullshit.
Should stupid people be allowed to do mistakes such as working for free for people just using them? Sure, but It's just an awful fucking insentive for companies to get free workers for bullshit tasks. Get some kid fresh out of college, put them on the easy to learn tasks and leave them there til they figure out they're being used. And when they leave just grab the next one. plenty of naive people out there thinking this is a reliable route to employment.
>hey user thanks for the year of hard work but we've given the position to the cmo's niece
The laws make it impossible for you to do this. Boomers have no sense
based boomer. millies come work for me and prove yourselves FOR FREE
I can tell you're a zoomer.
In the real world you are not "awarded" for hard work, or for showing up to a job for that matter. It's not about being "awarded" anything. In the real world it's all about the max VALUE you can create for the max number of people, with the resources you have - be that time, money, connections, good looks, whatever.
If you have very few resources, then working for free in exchange for connections and skills will be the better play long-term, in comparison to bitching online and wasting your time.
thats not how the free market works grandpa.
> Boomer cope
Dude just get robots and AI or pajeets to do your mundane office work lmao
Everything that can be automated should be automated
Fuck off boomer. I pray to God every day that we finally cut social security. Pieces of shit boomers like you aren’t entitled to my hard-earned money.
fuck this market
really
employers these days are geting worse and worse, it's almost like back in 1920
And you people here cry for more capitalism and don't see how it gets worse with every year.
have fun working for free idiots
Think about it like this: would you rather have a jannie, whose time has such little value that they work for free, or a competent self assured person who values their own time? It might make sense to exploit the person working for free for as long as they're willing to do it, but you'll never respect that person because they worked for free.
when will these fucking boomers understand that there are more people vying for less and less jobs?
>just work hard and muh firm handshake
NO YOU FUCKING BOOMER BABY THAT SHIT WORKING WAS JUST A SYMPTOMS OF YOUR BABBY GOLDEN SPOON TIMES
FUCKING DIE
I warned you about those fucking Borneo's, man
anyone got that picture of and old lady boomer reply to a linkedin add solicitation in which she's an total asshole?
I'll get the diversity hire I'm required to and the white dude that has been working for free like a retard can find something else to do now.
Kek
you can't by law hire someone getting unemployment. there is then insurances, safety regulations and so one that needs to be covered
Great advice. I’ve been working free for almost 3 years and sometimes my coworkers take me out to lunch and I don’t even have to tip! Sometimes I even bring in coffee for my boss just to show him how much I appreciate being around. I bet you’re asking yourselves how i supplement living expenses. Dedication requires sacrifice, something you millennials just can’t understand. I live comfortably in an abandoned factory about 2 miles from where I work. Sure, sometimes I see violent drug addicts scurrying in the darkness and I may have been robbed at knife point on occasion, but I have a roof over my head and a bountiful dumpster nearby filled with used goodies and discarded food. I found a whole loaf of wonder bread the other day, and to think it was only three days expired!
I wouldnt hire either. The Second one is probably a scammer that wants the know the insides of my places before robbing me. Thats being a Boss 101
I guess there is some truth to it. Member the nigress that used to answer and support a lot of new joiners messages on TrustSwap Discord? Yeah she made off with about $477k just answering community questions for free, then getting noticed for the effort and getting included in the team as Community Manager and just with the recent team distribution received a Swap whale award.
Just something I noticed recently.
its illegal to volunteer time in a for profit organization
Sap kek, they're right about that
Not the same as the boomer meant tho
>Do it for free
I'm not going to be a jannie.
Kek thinking that nepotism is still a thing. In this day you will get your position passed to a diversity hire.
I mean she worked like a week for free, whenever I was on she was there responding to the newfags questions as stupid as they may be.
Just like the boomer said, her dedication got noticed and she was included in the team officially.
Obviously he meant the traditional jobs, but it still applies to crypto, or any virtual job you can think of.
Id unironically kill myself before I worked for some shekelberg for free.
I am a 20 year old zoomer and I agree with you, I dont have any skills but at least I will get a reference
Post the link to this guy's profile, I need to read the comments on this
why did you dodge the question?
warped view. you don't hire people for the purpose of respecting them. you hire them for the purpose of them adding value to your org
beyond that, you're assuming people make accurate assessments of themselves. all data we have tell us otherwise. idiots are more prone to dunning-kruger
especially true of "smart" idiots, like the type who scores 130 on an iq test but sits at home and watches anime. completely useless when it comes to delivering value in a business
Not a boomer. Not on social security. There are more generations than just zoomers and boomers.
WTF does being a jannie have to do with this? Do you really consider that as "working for free"? No on in his right mind would put in that on their resume.
If a zoomer with 0 work references were interviewing with me, I wouldn't think he's a "competent self assured person who values their own time" lol. In what imaginary world do you live
i actually laugh at wagies but this is NOT a bad advice
>instead chad who got laid off in 2017 sat infront if his computer all day browsing biz and thought that link token has some funny pictures attached tonit why not get the recommended 10k stack
>at the same time karen ranjeed just started his new job in san francisco, earning six figures but as of this day still in debt
