sentinel apps are framework for new apps to be built
A new version of the SENT iOS application was recently released.
If you are an IOS user join the TestFlight group today to test out the Sentinel dVPN on your iphone and provide feedback.
Once the iOS UI/UX is perfected, it will serve as a template for other dVPN applications that are built on the Sentinel ecosystem.
Important to note that these releases are not important just for the users of Sentinel dVPN, but the network of developers who will create their own dVPN ontop of the Sentinel framework. They will be able to use these applications as base templates and build ontop of them adding their own customizations if they wish or just focusing on changing the UI/UX as per their desired branding

after main net SENT will also launch its own multi hop relay net which will initially have 3 types of nodes:
-relay node which will never come in contact with unencrypted dats thats what normal users will host it will only relay traffic between themself and to a exit nodes
-normal exit nodes which will require more expert users and will be subject to the same precautionary measures as when you host a tor node.
-tor exit node here the exit node funnels the data into tor its thought for people that run tor nodes already to offer them revenue for their service
you will be able to exit directly into tor think of it as a way to reach security through layering:
your pc > relay node 1 > relay node 2 > relay node 2 >....any x n relay >> exit node > tor exit node > tor entry > tor relay > tor exit.
(you can add as many relay nodes as you want, if even one of them is safe you will be protected from surveillance)

sentinel relay net will allow you to bounce your data through multiple nodes , thus ensuring you can't be logged, also if any node tries to cheat and change their software it gets automatically disconnected from the network thanks to the blockchain architecture.
but main selling point for a normal consumer might be that sentinel will be cheaper cause it allow for global competition on a single platform

If there is a normiefied way of having a router or an app where you could switch on a node and start earning that might work. I don't see how it would make a good passive income as there will be thousands of nodes. If it paid for my own sub and generated a few dollars a week that would be enough I think.

But with Sentinel, suddendly everybody will be able to sell and buy bandwidth in a global market place, making bandwidth the first fully digital fungible commodity. This is an untapped market, potentially worth billions.
