Zig Forums originally loved this guy back in 2016 when he was a fringe professor fighting back the SJWs in universities, then 2017-18 he started getting popular and his message was classical liberalism/individualism which triggered Zig Forums. The nail in the coffin was JP becoming very popular with normies and at this point it was all over for the Zig Forums autist to be a fan, just like when Rick n Morty got big with redditors (Rick n Morty was loved on Zig Forums before it got big).

He's not even a philosopher, he's a speaker and lecturer and there's nothing wrong with anything he says. Trannies are mad at him because he doesn't want to use pronouns and they're all giddy at the first sign of weakness he exposes, which is ironically for trannies mental health issues.

I can understand his thinking though. He followed a path that led him to drug abuse, so he does what he can to help others avoid it. It's sad that he's intelligent enough to know the mis-steps he made, but couldn't avoid ending up in his situation. Peterson honestly helped me through some dark times; they're still kind of shit, but much much better thanks to some of his insights.

I don't hate him, I think his popularity is a reflection on the absolute state of the modern world and modern philosophy.

In fact I'd say most of the societal problems we have is due to the corruption and ineffectiveness of modern philosophy, we need new innovative ideas and solutions for modern problems but here's some Nietzche and Camus, a little bit of Marx here, maybe even some Stirner or something, some psued analysis book-report on movies, video games or TV shows.
