Probably but if you can afford to wait, you might consider at least having some cash in; you can always just ride out the dip/buy in the dip. For instance, if my ~30k of stocks drops to 15k overnight, that's fine, I can survive without it for 5 years or more with my current savings / salary / etc. Depends on your job and non-stock holdings, though.
