It seems likely that he will, that's the only speech he's ever given, but now he has a much larger audience. Many who bought in the past couple months have never heard his "connecting the blockchain to the real world" pitch. The real question is, with that large of an audience, why WOULDN'T he recycle it.

but his direct audience isn't "people who bought in the past couple months." this is a conference for industry insiders who already know what chainlink is and what it does (the panel is full of partners, and why would you sign up to join if you didn't know what chainlink was).
it's the LAST talk scheduled at this conference. why would sergey explain "the smart contract connectivity problem" after two days' worth of chainlink-related talks?

What are you on about, if the panel is full of industry insiders and partners, who are they talking to? Folks who don't know what it does, thus the importance of informing people about connecting blockchain to the real world. Obviously.

something has to be announced, i mean come on.. it's your first own conference, it would be absolute common sense to do a little *ting ting ting* for the special occasion. doesn't mean staking but maybe something comfy nonetheless

You would be VERY surprised by how little "industry insiders" know. These people aren't scientists, engineers, manufacturers, or producers. They're politicians.
