My company revenue has jumped 50% because of COVID (mortgage industry) and I am so fucking burnt out. I have 25 people who depend on me, not including my wife and kids. I live modestly, in a 2000 sf house in a decent suburb.
No matter what, I can’t just drop everything. The IRS will always want their cut, I have bills, people who work for me, other family that depends on me.
If I was a NEET, no one would give a shit. I could come in and out of society and it would not matter. I dream about the day when I can sit by a pond in a cabin in silence, and not be needed by anyone.
Anons who made it through hard work and determination, how did you do it? How do you keep going when everyone depends on you, and you wake up every day knowing you could easily just lose everything you’ve ever worked for?
just keep trying and if it doesnt work out then sleep in a tent in the mountains like what other choice is there

I'm unemployed and can't afford healthcare. Take your richboi sob story and go fuck yourself.
Charles Williams
can you delegate some of your work?
Nathaniel Lee
Wagies are slaves to their boss. Bosses are slaves to their company.
I am a NEET. I experience a level of freedom that is literally beyons the comprehension of wagies. It makes a wagie anxious to even imagine what they would do with one extra hour of free time per day. How do I pay for this? Well, boss, think of the IRS as my personal courier service; transporting money from your wallet to mine.
Jacob Lee
Take a break, vacation is important for your mental health. Delegate your work on a calm week, tell people not contact you unless its urgent and go camping for a few days. If you can't right now, at least make some plans so you have something to look forward to

A burnout will have worse consequences on the long run
Jackson Lopez
It’s the judgements that I can’t delegate. Most of my work is automated, but in the end I have to solve several problems a day personally because that is what my clients pay for. These are problems worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and a single mistake can have my license revoked.
Jose Collins

I'm going through that atm, literally feel like there are worms in my brain and just feelin tired that sleep doesn't seem to help.

I couldn't even handle being the peer leader in rehab. Too much pressure trying to live up to other peoples expectations. So I stay a NEET.

It's the worst, and it will fuck you up for a while

The only good part is that you do come out stronger
Leo Jenkins
I took a week off just two weeks ago and felt like a piece of shit the entire time. I knew there were issues that needed my attention even though my clients knew about my time off. They had one more thing they needed the entire time I was off. It feels like every vacation is just deferring all of my bullshit and when I finally come back, everyone is just angry and I lose business.
we're all anonymous here. how much money do you make per year and how much do you save?
i own several small businesses but it's just me. the hours are long but there are no employees i have to deal with. no family either. so i have a 90% savings rate. in a decade i can feasibly retire.
sounds to me like you're not cut out to be head of a large organization. bring in a minority partner if you need to.
>The only good part is that you do come out stronger
My cognitive abilities? The burnout is affecting my performance at work, usually I'm on my A game but not lately, trying to eat healthier.
Daniel Jones
Such is life, stay strong for your family God will reward you
Hudson Ramirez
Get some help then, seems to me that you need to find someone that's decent enough to trust. It's hard to give good advice as I dont fucking know you, but you shouldn't burden yourself with too much shit
Joshua Rogers

That sounds like a nightmare. When will it end?
Caleb Cooper
I just left a conference call for a school I'm attending online. People in there introduced themselves as their jobs and how they're studying to be in this industry. I just laugh at the wagies. I am only learning for fun, paying for tuition and living expenses with crypto.
Levi Edwards
Neets are slaves to the wagies that support them Wagies slave to boss Boss slave to themselves/ their boss Etc. NEETs are the lowest rung on the ladder, because they can only exist on the support of a wagie. If the wagie fails, the NEET, incapable of self care, fails harder. NEETs are not the optimal class, financial independence is.

Read 'The ONE Thing' By Gary Keller and Jay Papasan.
It'll help you plan and organise your day better dude, certainly helped me out. Work smarter, not harder as they say.

Na shit like your willpower and mental strength. When you finally get through tough times, you'll see some changes

You could try to reserve a small time window for yourself every day like 30 min-1 hour when you are free to just play and stop thinking to just enjoy the present that you are alive now. You need balance in your life and in your mind. The reason you are so stressed is because being focused on your company so much you forgot the other part of yourself which is a kid who just wants to live now and have fun. By giving this part of your subconscious more time it will act as a counter to your stress from your inner adult who focuses on the future and its dangers and give you more energy again. You don't have to be a god, you are only a human being, and are allowed to make mistakes. Maybe this will kill your company one day, or make you downsize it. But if you did more than a normal person would have done for your company, you shouldn't have to feel bad if something bad happens. Your employees are also thinking adults and should have the ability to adapt and find a new work if things go bad. Sometime life wants to show you a new way of life and all you have to do is listen and adapt.
Try to watch children play and let them make you remember your deeper instincts and emotions.
If it doesn't work you should try to check if there is a way to sell your company and get enough money to retire from it. Or try to get some help to run it. Do you have enough safety funds to pay for your own expenses and for your family for a few years if things go bad? Try to prepare for this. It should reduce the stress you feel from running your company if you don't feel so dependent on it.

Panama papers. Bank overseas. The elites do it.

I’m exactly the same, I own a pizza place and during lockdown sales went through the roof, we couldn’t keep up with demand. I’m totally burnt out dealing with customers, staff, physical and mental demands of it all. Things were growing organically pre covid and I had all kind of plans, now I feel like I’ve just lost control of it all. All I want to do every night is lock up and just mentally block it all out.
Aiden Smith
I kind of envy that life, just having no responsibility all day. On the other hand though I think I’d fade away from depression at the thought of achieving absolutely nothing with my life.

>When you finally get through tough times, you'll see some changes
Actually 2020 has been a good year but I'm now starting to suffer from the burnout from busting my ass earlier this year working 7 days a week to pay off my debts, even though I've been working 5 days a week for some months now.
Parker Wright
You had THREE YEARS

I care too much about my people and my product. I need several people to run the way I do and it works well. I’m certainly not cut out for it. I lose my shit when I make a mistake that costs my clients time or money. The perfectionism has made me the best in my area, but it also destroys me when my customers are unhappy.
I’m a pretty big time doctor actually shit ton of people depend on me but I made the job super lifestyle friendly made it 4 days a week 6-8 hours a day and make over 400k a year and say fuck off a lot to people but I remain pretty nice so everyone loves the alpha dick nice dude that’s smart as shit. Hope that helps.
