Yeah, so, no one wants to rely on just one oracle system. If you're smart you're going to use more then one and make sure that if there is conflicting info from the two sources (or more) then the function in your smart contract won't execute. So I don't expect Link to be the solo king-of-the-hill for oracle smart contracts. I'm more prone to go with flare staking because its more regulated and doesn't have a conflict of interest with staking and utility.

I worry about unforeseen consequences of stakers being invested in the network. IMO its a conflict of interest for people making money to also have a hand in the validity of my data. XRP with flare tries to mitigate this by dividing up the principle token from that utility.
