heard something really close to this story on here, thought it was the exact same one for a sec.
Basically they keep retrying a failed transaction if I understand his story right. But it was their fault the transaction failed in the first place. And it has now locked the stack.
I worked at a place where the retries like that were automatic, if it declined it was hard to stop a certain number of automatic retries. For actual bank accounts not cards it was impossible until it did all the attempts. Its probably in the fine print somewhere how many times is the maximum attempt. 5 is getting up there though.

you or your bank probably fucked up. my wife spent some money and i bought crypto on cb. the cb transaction qent through evedn though it was insufficient funds (thanks wifey)
long story short i couldnt sell or send any crypto for about 2 weeks till i paid for my original purchase (you must contact customer support)
