Fair enough, I'd do the same. Question: Are the nodes you own currently online and earning you passive income? Or does that form of staking come with the full release?

Already online. What's being worked on now (nearly done btw) is staking from ledger and node management from hardware/light wallet.

I run both MN’s and TPOS. Overall my MN’s earn me more XSN for the equivalent amount of XSN in TPoS. I only keep my TPoS going as Kuo is my merchant so don’t mind making a little less on that XSN as he gets to make a bit of profit for all the work he does for the community like the videos he does.

thx for the info. And yeah, I just did that. It cost me a couple hundred stakies in terms of what I could have got, but I'd rather I definitely catch the bottom here. I now have 15100 stakies!!!! Gonna set my my Mn tonight, I am fucking excited!

Is it difficult to set up a node? I watched a couple tutorials, it seems a bit convoluted but doable.

If you set up on cloud it's ez, they have a few guides. Also cloud has a guide when you click create node.

Note you need 150 xsn spare in cloud to or you cant host. If your balance falls below this your node will turn off.

I was thinking manually hosting a node, since my PC is on all the time anyway for mining purposes. If I were to use the cloud though, would I need to keep topping this 150 up as it is used? Or does that come from my rewards?

Your rewards would go to the core wallet so you need to manually send them. Using a vps is also an option.

Ok np, thanks for the tips. I have a question regarding wallet addresses: So, every time I send my stakies to my wallet, it generates a different address. I now have about 4-5 addresses that contain my coins. Will I need to consolidate these into one address in order to set up a node?

You need to made a legacy address for a node, stars with X. only 15000xsn can be on the address when you make the node. I am unsure why you have heaps of addresses.

No problem. I have different addresses because that's how the hardware wallet works is it not? Every time you click "receive XSN" and request a payment, it generates you a new address. All the coins are totalled in my balance though. This is what confused me desu, how are they counted alltogether if they have different addresses. Maybe I am a brainlet? I dont know

You are using ledger/trezor?

Right now you cant host nodes on ledger/trezor but it will coming soon (within a few weeks). It's also coming to the light wallet too.

Also I just realised I am 13 xsn from 15150.... FUCK. Mate is there any chance you can drop me 13 xsn? if not no worries, it just means I definitely have to host a Mn I guess

I can probs do. Depends if you are using cloud or vps. Cloud requires the 150 to start with. Vps requires usd I think. some do accept bitcoin though.

No I'm using the core wallet, sorry I didn't mean to say hardware wallet.

In core wallet, enable the masternode tab in setting, also tick coin control. This will let you see all your addreses.
