you just learn minutia about some city's water system and codes and compliance then fill out forms for 60k+ starting on a set, comfortable 40 hour work week, with good bennies.
the "cool" lawyers work their fucking asses off. like 100+ hours a week shitposting legalese for MBAs and criminals to avoid jail or make millions. its soul crushing. criminal law is equally soul crushing from either side, as well as just as much work, with fewer rewards, and you have to spend your time with disgusting scum.
