Every single day, thousands of Venezuelans storm the Wilderness of RuneScape to farm: Rare Chimpchompas and Chaos Elemental for rares.
They squad in level 30-50's for the chimps, and over level 100+ for Chaos Elemental. The biggest money makers though play the mini boss battles persistently for the current seasons new rares. (The new abyssal whips, 3rd age, etc etc).
These smart bastards make over 500m every day as a collective group, and sell them for Crypto in an autonomous matter: See PieGP. Make payment > Bot mules automatically logs in > meet up & trade you the goods & done.
Now this is where RSGP value lies: RS membership. $7 a month, OR 3.5MM (3,500,000) RSGP. Average million cost about $0.7 per mill. It is infact cheaper to support your local venezuelan gold dealer for $5 if you want a full month of membership.
There are plenty ways to farm gold & plenty of places to resell it. You can see youtubes/streamers degen gamble over duel arena, this is also a great way.
Another popular conspiracy is that RuneScape developers spawn gold and resell it to 3rd party websites. There is a popular RS youtuber that got caught doing this, but was never resolved.
we all know that its a decent tame but were not retarded like you to play this grindfest, 300 hours for one 99 out of 28 what a bunch of retarded kids that never grew up from their tunescape phase
F in the chat for this dumbass
Thomas Myers
More like thousands of automated bot accounts
David Hall
There was a time when you could actually farm in online games before the Chinese got into it and you could make decent money. I used to charge $20 an hour in a game for services. Year 2000 before some of you faggots were even born.
Evan Jenkins
>play RS back before evolution of combat >there's a bug for like 30 minutes that duplicates items >friend duplicates an absolute shitload of some expensive crossbow bolts and gives them to me >he gets banned but I don't >sell the bolts for money over the next like 3 months >sell the gold for $3000 >quit RS forever because the game sucks and being nearly max level is boring as fuck
I would give that money to Venezuelans if I wasn't also poor
Julian Barnes
I sold 21.5B for around 10k USD from 2 months worth of botting lol. Easy money I think I can keep my method up for another 6 months at most though before someone figures it out
Jayden Kelly
Even if you make custom scripts their pattern recognition is so good that unless you're dumping your bots every 2 weeks you will get caught and banned and your script will be flagged.
All the decent money makers require stats that take longer than 2 weeks to make so there's very little you can do if you want to make money purely based off botting.
Adam Thomas
I bot like 50 accounts at one time and maybe 1/3 of them make it to the end ready for the real botting. A mate of mine buys accounts but that just digs from ya profit.
Jacob Thompson
> triggered for some odd reason Calm down sir, i'm sure your retarded self lost a lot of money trading Zig Forums crypto scams
Jagex does about one personal, in-depth bot nuke every two years or so. Everything other than that is found from them just looking around online, because most people who make bots immediately then try to make money off them by selling them to other 12-year-olds. If you make one that's half-decent and code in things like not running for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they're fairly easy to fool. Jagex even changed almost all random events to not teleport you elsewhere without you interacting with them, so you can't just be teleported to Evil Bob's island in the middle of bot mining.

Venezuelans got in on it so now the price of GP to real money has dropped through the floor. The internet is flush with bots which, if you use sensibly, don't get you caught (or used on throwaway accounts under a VPN), further dropping the price of consumable items like Iron Ore or Coal.
Colton Peterson
Can I have your account?
David Price
what is special about your script that lets it go unbanned half the time? mine seems to get banned constantly no matter what modifications i make to it
Jayden Morales
Very nice idea, kind gentlesir. >Detecting and excluding outliers and market manipulation is an important data processing task, especially in small and (somewhat) intransparent markets.
Depends on your setup. The way most people play 30+ accounts at the same time is using PAID proxies, PAID scripts, & mass Virtual Machines. OSRS client sends your HWID/OS information to the server, if it detects two accounts logged in through the same machine, you'll get flagged. If you got an acc banned with your HWID, you're automatically on a watchlist and will be flagged if any account is associated with that HWID
Poorly coded scripts that spam packets unhuman-like or very automated-like (e.g. mass selecting whole inventory in one-click very fast, super fast/ precisely timed intervals) easily get your account flagged. This is why you should avoid free scripts, and if you do use free scripts, don't suicide bot with it, take breaks
The best way in my opinion is to let your bots play for less than 12 hrs max, with random 2 - 3 hour break intervals. RuneMate dev's have a perfect BreakHandler that does this, but the best scalable bot client there is right now is called TriBot as they allow you to bot on the Mobile version. Though expensive, they have the best API when it comes to making scripts and smarter-botting compared to most (RuneMate, Powerbot, etc).
True to an extent; but people still make a ton through fishing & mining as its still the most profitable AFK way to mine RSGP, and the more sophisticated farms mass mine Rune Ore in the wildy with actual high level PKers guarding them. Also, arbitrage membership bonds is very profitable with large stacks of RSGP:
Honestly I would be willing to bot again if it could yield me some passive income. Is just selling GP worth?
Easton Roberts
With the right setup & dedication, absolutely, but probably not if you're an oldfag. Degen duel-gambling is where it's at if you want quick gains. There's plenty of streamers that do this from time to time, you can see the seething when they lose big
>but the best scalable bot client there is right now is called TriBot as they allow you to bot on the Mobile version. Are you serious? I've never seen anything about this. What are the banrates like?
Joseph Brown
I played OSRS off and on but I lost interest in the game in general. Got a maxed pure and a maxed med main. They purposely ignored PvP updates for years and even now its dead as shit. Revs was ok and fun for a while. I wanna go back to pre-eoc days but that time is long gone. Fuck fagex
Julian Gomez
>fagex
I haven't seen that in a fucking loooooooooooooooooooooooong time
what virtual servers botters use, can you just use aws ec2's or whatever cloud provider is the cheapest? also isnt HWID spoofable?
Jackson Lopez
TriBot rates are very low since you've got to pay premium to use their software
Understandable, but there's still a fat chunk of nerds that play for the high-level risking & rare item farming, like those 3rd age Pker's or PvM gangs. One 3rd age item cost an average of 1B or $600 through RWTS
It's best to avoid popular services like DigitalOcean, OVH cause Jagex knows if you are playing from a VPS through IP. Unless it is a Dedicated (Not a VPS/Shared host) server OR you setup a proxy on your VPS. You can simply use a VPS and proxy it to your home IP address to avoid exposing your box's IP. Setting up mass tablets or phones is another alternative, that is what the gopniks & chinks do
>TriBot rates are very low since you've got to pay premium to use their software Are you talking about the mobile client alone? The desktop bot is no different from other popular bots like OSBot etc. All the same ban rates in my experience. I'd like to know more about the mobile bot though and I've done some reading. They plan to release in summer and they let their scripters test it out I believe? Have you had the chance to try it?
Jonathan Moore
nice what program
Colton Jones
nice try mod mark
Noah Hill
>release "old school" version of the game before the grand exchange ruined it >re-add the grand exchange which ruins the game again
blame the faggots who doesn't want to spend hours bartering.
Connor Green
players with virtually unlimited resources to sell as a result of botting, for example (i was one of them)
Owen Wood
RWT is good and bad at the same time.
Asher Scott
Hey op, I don't play the game, but should i buy 10 grand worth of gold? Because if the Venezuelans stop being poor fags the price of gold could go up.
Samuel Lee
can you parse that out?
Jordan Cooper
hyper-economizing the RS economy ruined the game. because it creates all sorts of weird incentives in the game. Like if you're mining its quicker to just dump your ore instead of bank and sell, because the time spend running to / from the bank you can just spend sitting at the GE grinding chocolate bars which makes more GP.
So if you go to the mining areas its just a bunch of bots with massive amounts of iron dumped on the ground everywhere, its so stupid.
Noah Green
Fucking lol this reminds me when I played this game when I was like 9 years old and didn't even know any English except a few words that kept repeating on the screen. Haven't played it since though, played WoW instead when it was released
Brayden Carter
grinding chocolate bars? whats that? I buy and use crystal keys
