Why do you think the banks would buy the XRP asset now when other banks are still implementing the system? If you were handling a large bank that works with billions of dollars per day you wouldnt just waste money on something so new and untested? Also if you look around, you'll see that banks have been shutting down recently, a rare event when new tech is deployed. Swift is also sending SMS to clients telling them that their partners were shutting down for a period of time (can't confirm this, someone shared it on youtube).
