Anyone have experience selling a blog/website?

So I have a blog that gets about 1k views per month, niche audience. Only makes a couple bucks a month in ad revenue. Has twitter account, with a decent following. Without much attention put into it.

At this point I just want to sell it to someone who can better utilize it.

Though I want to sell it as a package. Domain name alone is worth a good amount, so if I throw in the twitter account and the blog, I figure I can get at least 5 grand for it.

What are the best ways of selling as a package? Any experiences are appreciated.

When she drinks I turn off

Justin... shut the fuck up no one wants your shitty blog

I don't mind as much but don't think she should be in every episode. mix it up a bit

Websites with a bit of traffic and zero revenue are a dime a dozen. You might get $500 for it, $1000 at the absolute max if the buyer is a retard.

Yea, shout out, fuck yea, Stoody, you've been picked stoody.
I only know about redbar through pod awful.

I can get more, domain alone is $1,000

If you saw it, you would understand, just prefer not to be doxxed

Just start copying redbar, their will be a niche to be filled when he dies of the corona virus.

No. Mike said himself he wouldn't do Redbar if he didn't start so young.

Sometimes you are so good at what you do, it puts you on a path you can't turn back from

Check flippa.com

Good luck user

thanks, on second look, that might be legit.

It's a legit website. Just make sure to review whoever shows interest. Both for buying as selling. It used to be worse, but I have the feeling this website is taking things very serious.

thanks, but how do they actually preserve the content when transferring for you? does flippa take full control of the wp account+domain? as escrow? would they do twitter accounts too?

Bought a website on this site couple of years back. Once you win the auction, the owner contacts you. Depending if you buy the bin (buy it now) price, you can expect extra service. Usually the buyer needs to get their own hosting package, or can pay for hosting services directly from the seller.

For me all I had to do was get hosting and the seller transferred it all over to my account. After that it was a matter of changing loging details and your done.

People like you always give yourselves the most charitable domain valuation possible lmao unless it's an exact keyword with high search volume that you rank #1 in Google for, it likely adds zero to the sale-value of your site.

Your site is worth 10-30x your monthly profit. Your domain, mailing list, social media followers, etc. add little to no extra value.

You are about to be in for a rude awakening in the 'website / business for sale' market if this is literally the first time you're hearing about Flippa.

Flippa was a legitimate market place years ago but is now rife with scams. Your listing will be lost in a sea of dog shit and end without a bid / your reserve being met - guaranteed.

I'm taking numbers from a website value calculator and discounting it 50% from there. Then comparing that to similar websites sold.

Am not the retard you are looking for.

Since I know the real numbers

Anyway good luck, in a similar situation, bought some domain names specific to Crypto currency mutual funds. As soon as Boomers and Normies go into crypto I'm cashing out the domains already (((valued))) at a couple thousand.

Can you give us a similar name to yours without doxxing? E.g. rockcollecting.com MineralHobby.com idk something like that, genuinely curious.
Best of luck user!

Thanks man good luck to you too.

>As soon as Boomers and Normies go into crypto I'm cashing out the domains

exactly. All I will say is it's related to smart contracts.

Have done very few posts with zero promotion. If I hired Rakesh or Ashvin like everyone else does on these flipping sites to pump the numbers, then significantly more.

I'll buy it - drop an email

hang on, on mobile, gotta create

I’ve been watching RedBar since 2012 and it slowly becoming popular is like watching a shitcoin moon.
