People are making bets on the price of LINK. These bets settle in USDT. This allows a whale or exchange to set up a massively leveraged short bet, then sell actual LINK at a loss. They then settle their contract and use the Tether and proceeds of their market sell to repurchase the LINK. This milks capital from LINK until the spot price is a steaming crater.

When the price gets low enough, this becomes dangerous to do because the market can buy up the LINK and kill the USDT side of the scam. So, pieces of shit like you are paid to disingenuously FUD and discourage retail from interfering with the whales and exchanges. Eventually, the price is allowed to walk back up and pieces of shit like you are paid to encourage retail. This will happen when the scam becomes tenuous. It will then start over.
