I made it by 30. Took a decent chunk of my 20s. A few years where I worked nonstop and stress ate and put on 50 pounds.

At 30 I am my own boss, work from home and set my own hours. Pull in 400k+ a year. Have free time to exercise and take better care of myself physically and mentally.

What field did you work nonstop in? I am 20 and I want to work my ass off to gain some skills and eventually go my own way but I dont know how to do it

Tech/programming. Took a big risk on a project that I spent 2 years and 20 grand bootstrapping on my own. Eventually got it generating money and kept it growing until it steadily pulled in 2mil revenue a year.

I own two nice houses (mortgage free) and a nice car (all paid). I have enough money to live off for the rest of my life (i'm 29). So, i guess i have 'made it'. I just sit in all day though and don't talk to my family and most of my money just goes to groceries. No point in going on holiday when there nobody to go with. Also, i have probably shed 10-15 years of my life from stress alone to get to where i am. I have had a bunch of heart attacks when i worked and still get the occasional panic attack, all due to my previous job. Worked as a business consultant and advisor for an investment firm, basically i had to invest from the firms capital and help small-med sized firms grow, i would take a percentage of any profits if successful. Even though most of the investors money from the firms capital was high net worth individuals, the stress is still there - a lot of the money was from hard working families. Every night i barely slept as at any moment the business i invested in could fail causing investors to lose a shit tonne of their money. A few of them did fail and i had to be hospitalized due to a heart attack.

Anyway, i regret doing it as a career, only reason i didn't quit right away is because it took about 2-3 years before any profits were paid. I worked in a small team of people and none of them had any emotion or worry whatsoever even though their own livelihoods were also on the line, most fucking bizarre people i have every met.
