Who the fuck is out there actually buying a fucking phone for 1300 Dollars?

I used a $100 Moto G for 1 year and now I have brain damage. A phone, unless you have a decent laptop or desktop at home, is basically an extension of your brain.

I try to get a decent phone for about five hundred every two years but I think I've paid more than that

I've started doing alot of my trading on my phone..actually thinking to spend more on my next one like the galaxy note with pen..need the screen size and speed.

It's just not worth it to buy a flagship phone, unless your employer is paying for it. You're left feeling embarrassed 3 years time when a budget phone absolutely blows it out of the water.

youre paying for status not a phone. OP was born yesterday.

$400-600 phones are where $1000 phones were 2 years ago, but i noticed they actually have better cameras and built in speakers. The tech is moving too fast

For me, i decided i need to stop using $100-200 shit phones when i got a real job and had to talk to professionals or do shit on the fly without my phone shitting the bed

Yeah have fun buying 200$ shitphone and you're stuck with old android with exploits forever, very smart

Yup, you can't be mobile and do business on a potato phone. I work remotely sometimes so I needed something beefy with a high res screen in case of emergencies

I'm cheap as fuck but spent $650 on a OnePlus 6T

if you didn't pre-order the fold 2 then you are a poorfag. You only paid $1400 on a phone? Those are rookie numbers.

I just see it as a computer
A $200 computer does not have enough CPU/ram/storage for me to browse properly
Can't have a bunch of charts open + streaming video going on a $200 computer, can't have a bunch of charts open + streaming video going on a $200 phone

Similarly, I would not use a laptop that costs less than 4 digits, because I would not use a slow laptop for any reason

>implying you're paying for an asset, not a service
literally provides access to the sum of human knowledge in your pocket, and you think it's overpriced.

I used to get those contract deals where you pay 200 for a flagship with 2 yr contract. Just bought a Galaxy S20 a couple months ago for $800. I used my Galaxy S7 for 4 years straight, I intend to use this for at least 3 years. I use my phone realistically at least 3 hours a day, for something I use that much and will use for a few years, $800 is well worth it IMO

cars, i could drop 1300 dollars out of my pocket and not notice, while a 40,000 dollar car is worth 18,000 in 2 months after buying it.

>to the sum of human knowledge in your pocket
kek what a fucking meme
pic related is all you need

A brand new Alfa Romeo.

I could never go back to a sub 6 inch non oled screen. I will continue paying 300 dollars or so every three years or so and buying chink shit with large oled screens and running them into the ground

0/10
Snake is dope though

0/10? hahahaha
what are you gonna do? suck my fat cock faggot

People who enjoy the perks of being on the bleeding edge of a developing technology more than they care about 1300 USD.

Why do retards buy the best smartphone on the market? If you want one for basic things just buy a cheap one, if you need one with a little power the midrange ones can be really decent. If you're spending 1300 on a phone you're either a mobile gaming retard, or an ethot who uses it for the camera to take gratuitous photos on the go

I've owned one for 5 years already. If you plan to own your phone for 5+ years I wouldnt really consider it a waste. After all you have a camera, emergency services and entertainment all on the tip of your fingers

$1k for a top of the line phone is perfectly reasonable. There are only a few things that I pay for high end, this is one of them. I carry it with me everywhere and use it for multiple hours every day for various shit. Even if lower end phones can get the job done, I'd rather it be quick/easy/comfy/reliable for a couple extra hundred. I get a new one ever 2-3 years.

Does your $500 phone shit out that fast? I work in an industrial setting so my phone is always getting dusty and grimy but they always last me at least 5 years before anything goes wrong. We've definitely reached the point where any new improvement in technology is marginal at best and just serves for marketing. Maybe in the early '10s I could see upgrading that often.

buy last years note, always. Note 9 is still a fucking powerhouse, or if you need new the Note 10 lite is cheap and will do everything perfectly bar >mobile games. Binance with the s-pen is great.

You seem upset. I suggest you return to reddit, newfren

The networth of people holding LINK compared to those holding LINK and farming YFLINK?

I had to give up my Blackberry passport a few months ago because all the apps stopped working after 6 years.
I got a Samsung A20s and it was only $160 it seems good to me but i hardly ever use it.

You dont buy the phone, the phone is free with a 1 year contract. They just word it different now

Same. $500 seems about the optimum range for a good phone without getting jewed

I got a note 8 in 2017 for a grand. Sure it cost 1k but it's still going strong and I use it around 10 hours a day. I don't plan on buying a new one for another 2-3 years unless this one takes a shit.
