Doomed startup

>be me
>worked in startup for over a year
>long story short, it's completely web-based, communicated through Telegram, no office or anything
>for the past year I was very optimistic on this, looking forward to the success the startup would achieve
>after a year, reality sets in(very late)
>notices that alot of people that once worked with us have not shown up in the chat for months
>alot of the so-called announcements the CEO has been talking about for the past year ends up nowhere(supposed partnerships where we didn't even end up using their software)
>we actually got the first real potential capital raise, which included a "mission" to develop a very simple software for the company in question
>CEO takes us devs on the call, and talks about something completely different. When I question him about the mission we were given by the other company, he says don't think about it.
>now been working on yet another project that seems to be of no real use to the startup
>we were 4 a month ago on this project
>now we're just 2 which includes me, the 2 others have been radio silent for the past week
>no idea how many there really are left in the startup aside from me, the CEO and 5 others, getting less and less even if the CEO makes it sound like we're 20 at least
>these past months I've actually realized how absolutely unprofessional this entire startup is run
>considering the lack of resources the startup seems to have, I'll give it 2 months before it collapses on itself

Worst part is that there are actually many people who are investing in this shit.
I mean yeah, I have been very naive for the longest time too, but I'd assume investors would know better.

>but I'd assume investors would know better.

No, they wouldn't. If working in startups has taught me anything, it's that people with money can be straight up fucking idiots. Not everybody is going to coastal VC's shooting for a P&D IPO Listing through Goldstein's Stacks or "Spacks". Most """"Founders"""" are snake oil salesmen going for a straight exit-scam, and there's a million million-dollar retards out there willing to fund them.

chainlink insider tells all!

Yes, I realized that majority of those who are rich just got extremely lucky once and made enough money to be able to invest millions and still spread the risk enough to always be guaranteed some profit.

kek

If the founders aren’t scammy the board almost certainly is and will either flip the founders or find ways to force them out. It’s a doggie dog world it seems

>kek
...he’s not denying it

well, it's a crypto startup
Roll trips and I'll spill the beans lmao. I've been talking about this many times here, but this time I am actually going to say what shitcoin it is.

we already know its chainlink
>>CEO takes us devs on the call, and talks about something completely different. When I question him about the mission we were given by the other company, he says don't think about it.
this is sergey

Fuck it, Rollin

I’ll bite. If no trips, can you greentext us more of your experiences?

Roll

Kek, nice copium. "we actually got the first real potential capital raise". Sounds like Chainlink to you?

ROLLAN. SPILL THE BEANS OP

Roll, tell us

Well my greentext is basically the OP. I can't complain too much as I've been paid quite well for the5 hours of code monkey work I've done each month, but it's all such a huge mess holy shit.
I actually thought this was a very well run company but when I notice how much of a joke it really is.
It's extremely overvalued right now. I have no idea why people would invest in this shit. Well, the core idea is actually pretty amazing, but this CEO has been talking about capital raises for as long as I have worked for him, and yet we've received exactly $0 since then.
The only way to fund the company expenses is for them to dump from their team wallet.

The CEO is pretty good at talking though, but by that he is able to talk alot with very little actual substance.

You fucker, you missed it

I can tell in short that it shares many similarities with DAG in terms of being a clusterfuck, except it's worse.
It was even scooped up by Satsgang, and I believe it still is.
It actually shows how gullible people can be with their investment, me sort of included, but I had actually put 0 actual cash into this and was paid in return so I didn't really bother to do much due diligence.

Oh so was that why chainlink had so many job openings. Rip link its over stinkies.

I have a feeling the bot is learning. This is going to be a Murcko post.

the what?

We demand answers OP. This is highly sophisticated fud. OP will deliver, right?

I am trip

It's not ChainLink you fucking retard

The ability to speak profusely without saying much of anything seems to be a required skill for positions that attract sociopaths (CEOs, lawyers, politicians, etc.). Thanks for sharing. Out of curiosity, did they pay a straight salary or coins as well?

Let's just say OP would be in for a heavy dose of decentralized justice if he broke his NDA

No you are. I said it was XCM

TL;DR LOL

lmfao

Roll

I hope this was your first job at a start up. The talented, more experienced devs saw the writing on the wall months ago and left. You're only realizing not that you are in a sinking ship when its at the bottom of the ocean. Start doing no work and applying to other positions.
