RSR is one of my comfier holds. I try to not shill here because Zig Forums is primarily full of retards and I hardly ever find anyone with similar background/knowledge in crypto.
That being said, RSR has the connections in place to be the true successor/real world "Libra" that Facebook tried. the basket that gives RSV value will expand and eventually be replaced from USD to better assets. I hardly ever see anyone talk about this, probably because no one on Zig Forums has read the reserve protocol whitepaper. Next few weeks might suck for crypto in general but I'm not selling a thing.

Mark wanted to go the official route. When they first started Libra they were roadblocked by US and EU governments saying "slow down and let us review that first"
RSV and RSR already exist, the vault of stablecoins (and eventually I imagine gold-backed and bitcoin-wrapped tokens will make it into the vault too, as per the whitepaper)

Keep in mind that libra would have been completely centralised. How does that work for cryptocurrency you ask? It doesn't. And, wallets would probably have been exclusively custodial, because normies. Bankers and governments threw a fit for obvious reasons - Mark wanting to suddenly operate as a BANK didn't sit well with them. Institutions are going to be free to hold and trade both the actually currency, RSV, and the coin itself if they wish.
The major short term obstacle I see at the moment is on/off ramps. 31% of people don't have bank accounts. Nations in africa have been very clever in getting around this by using (I think even some non smart phones) mobile phones as a tool to pay for goods and services. If they can sort out those ramps then they are fucking golden.
