I'm not sure you could get anywhere here on fraud, the only fraudulent individuals would be the scam artists behind crypto currencies. Everyone here is poor and larps as being good at trading or making a profit.

I asked if the SEC was going to start investigating and prosecuting pump and dump scams a la Jordan Belfort in the 80s/90s, since it's so rampant in crypto, but I never got an answer. Is crypto even covered by the same market manipulation laws?

I think and don’t take my word for it but I think each crypto asset and the company or whatever behind it has there own laws and regulations due to the varying nature of the tech for example xrp has different regulations then bitcoin/eth
